Rammstein is one of a kind. This german band always comes back for more, no matter how much time has passed by since their previous album. Let's all bear in mind that after 2019's untitled album, the guys took a 10 year break from creating new songs... and they came back just as if nothing had happened. Willkommen zurück, meine Liebe Rammstein!

Zeit was released on April 29th 2022, just a few weeks before starting with their two-times postponed concerts for Untitled album. As a consequence of covid and not being able to play these gigs, this album came out of the blue... and glad they decided to create it without further plans, as it's got some really interesting songs on it.
By the end of 2021, when they finally announced that Zeit was going to be released in second quarter of 2022, they did say they had the time to go deep into themselves looking for inspiration... and, despite Til Lindemann (Rammstein's lead singer) been severely complicated due to covid, they did succeed in creating something unique.

Zeit song was released as the first single of this brand new album by the end of March 2022. Unlike other first singles that Rammstein has released, this time the main spotlight was given to a balad, which is very similar to Ohne Dich in my opinion.

Armee der Tristen (3:25)
In my opinion, this was a great starting point for this album. It reminds me of "Heirate Mich" in some way, but it's incredibly powerful and, of course, such strong "KOMM MIT" in the chores is simply perfect. Just Rammstein being Rammstein.
Zeit (5:21)
What to say about the single? I like it, although it's a bit more depressing and sad than we're used to for Rammstein. I found it weird to be the first sneak peak we got of the album, but it's still a really nice song.
Schwarz (4:18)
A very catchy chorus with a dynamic melody, it's simply a really good combination... and perhaps, does it have some Rosenrot vibes? Loved it.
Giftig (3:08)
I think this is one of the songs I loved the most! Another great example of Rammstein's classics: lyrics on point, riffs that will make you interested in listening to more and certain Sensucht's vibe.
Zick Zack (4:04)
Controversy? Hell yeah, bring it on! Lol. As you can see in the video they presented for this song, this talks about how addicted people are to changing their physical appearance to avoid looking older. Don't miss it:
OK (4:03)
Another one of my favourites, simply sounds incredibly good. That fast tempo is really catchy... but don't pay that much attention to the lyrics, just Rammstein being Rammstein. Lol.
Meine Tränen (3:57)
This song makes me shiver, it sounds really similar to Mutter... and lyrics are incredibly hard.
Angst (3:44)
This song is what I call a rollercoaster: everything's great about it, but it makes you feel so much!!! At the end, Lindemann's pure and almost aggresive singing makes it perfect.

Dicke Titten (3:38)
This is another classic Rammstein song. Incredibly controversial and repulsive for some people, yet incredibly funny... you just can't stop listening to it.
Lügen (3:49)
Another rollercoaster song, still I'm not really a fan of this song. I believe all autotune and sound distortion could have been avoided... it makes it incredibly weird from time to time.
Adieu (4:39)
Ok, there's a conspiracy theory around this song that says that they're basically saying farewell to creating music. I really hope that's not true, they seriously come up with great stuff every single time.
Aside from this, it's not the classic rock that they create, it somehow reminds me of Alter Mann. I would say this is a ballad, but it's definitely one of the songs I've enjoyed the most.

I'll try my best to be completelly honest when it comes to this album. At first, I wasn't expecting new material coming from Rammstein this soon, so I was a bit frightened that they might screw it up. We're no strangers to bands rushing to create new songs and bringing up anything but music, right?
Well, I gave it a chance and it didn't disappoint at all. As they have said, they had the proper time to experience and polish their style a bit more... but, for heaven's sake... I was so glad to head that it's still being Rammstein!! Their core style did not change at all and I was incredibly happy to realize that.

Classic Rammstein is represented to perfection in Zeit: songs that flow in their typical rock shade, controversial songs (Zick Zack, Dicke Titten... it wouldn't be Rammstein without some controversy, right? Lol) and the ballads that they know how to perfectly create (Adieu, Zeit, Lügen). Everything has been presented in a balanced way and I have to say that I enjoy this album a lot more than Untitled. Too bad, Deutschland.
Now, let's see what they bring to the stage after two years of not being able to perform. Today's the first concert of the European Tour, in Prague. I will be attending the concert on Monday, in that same city!

Zeit se lanzó el 29 de abril de 2022, solo unas semanas antes de comenzar con sus conciertos pospuestos dos veces para el álbum Untitled. Como consecuencia del covid y de no poder tocar en estos conciertos, este álbum salió de la nada... y me alegro de que hayan decidido crearlo sin más planes, ya que tiene algunas canciones realmente interesantes.
A fines de 2021, cuando finalmente anunciaron que Zeit se lanzaría en el segundo trimestre de 2022, dijeron que tenían tiempo para profundizar en sí mismos en busca de inspiración... y, a pesar de que Til Lindemann (vocalista de Rammstein ) ha sido severamente complicado debido a covid, lograron crear algo único.

La canción Zeit se lanzó como primer sencillo de este nuevo álbum a fines de marzo de 2022. A diferencia de otros primeros sencillos que Rammstein ha lanzado, esta vez el foco principal se centró en una balada, que es muy similar a Ohne Dich en mi opinión.

En mi opinión, este fue un gran punto de partida para este álbum. Me recuerda a "Heirate Mich" de alguna manera, pero es increíblemente poderoso y, por supuesto, un "KOMM MIT" tan fuerte en las tareas es simplemente perfecto. Solo Rammstein siendo Rammstein.

¿Qué decir del sencillo? Me gusta, aunque es un poco más deprimente y triste de lo que estamos acostumbrados por Rammstein. Me pareció extraño ser el primer adelanto que obtuvimos del álbum, pero sigue siendo una canción realmente agradable.

Un estribillo muy pegadizo con una melodía dinámica, simplemente es una muy buena combinación... y quizás, ¿tiene algo de Rosenrot? Me encantó.
Giftig (3:08)
Creo que esta es una de las canciones que más me gustaron! Otro gran ejemplo de los clásicos de Rammstein: letras en punto, riffs que harán que te interese escuchar más y cierta vibra de Sensucht.
Zick Zack (4:04)
¿Controversia? ¡Diablos, sí, adelante! Lol. Como se puede ver en el video que presentaron para esta canción, esta habla de lo adictas que son las personas a cambiar su apariencia física para no verse mayores. No te lo pierdas:
OK (4:03)
Otro de mis favoritos, simplemente suena increíblemente bien. Ese tempo rápido es muy pegadizo... pero no prestes mucha atención a la letra, solo Rammstein siendo Rammstein. Lol.
Meine Tränen (3:57)
Esta canción me da escalofríos, suena muy similar a Mutter... y la letra es increíblemente dura.
Angst (3:44)
Esta canción es lo que yo llamo una montaña rusa: ¡todo es genial, pero te hace sentir mucho! Al final, el canto puro y casi agresivo de Lindemann lo hace perfecto.

Dicke Titten (3:38)
Esta es otra canción clásica de Rammstein. Increíblemente controvertido y repulsivo para algunas personas, pero increíblemente divertido... simplemente no puedes dejar de escucharlo.
Lügen (3:49)
Otra canción de montaña rusa, todavía no soy muy fan de esta canción. Creo que todo el autoajuste y la distorsión del sonido podrían haberse evitado... lo hace increíblemente extraño de vez en cuando.
Adieu (4:39)
Ok, hay una teoría de la conspiración en torno a esta canción que dice que básicamente se están despidiendo de la creación de música. Realmente espero que eso no sea cierto, en serio se les ocurren cosas geniales cada vez.
Aparte de esto, no es el rock clásico que crean, de alguna manera me recuerda a Alter Mann. Diría que es una balada, pero definitivamente es una de las canciones que más he disfrutado.

Haré mi mejor esfuerzo para ser completamente honesta cuando se trata de este álbum. Al principio, no esperaba material nuevo de Rammstein tan pronto, así que estaba un poco asustada de que pudieran arruinarlo. No somos ajenos a las bandas que se apresuran a crear nuevas canciones y sacan todo menos música, ¿verdad?
Pues le di una oportunidad y no defraudó en absoluto. Como han dicho, tuvieron el tiempo adecuado para experimentar y pulir un poco más su estilo... pero, por el amor de Dios... ¡¡Me alegró mucho saber que sigue siendo Rammstein!! Su estilo central no cambió en absoluto y estaba increíblemente feliz de darme cuenta de eso.

El clásico Rammstein está representado a la perfección en Zeit: canciones que fluyen en su típico matiz rockero, temas controvertidos (Zick Zack, Dicke Titten... no sería Rammstein sin alguna polémica, ¿no? Jajaja) y las baladas que saben crear perfectamente (Adieu, Zeit, Lügen). Todo se ha presentado de forma equilibrada y tengo que decir que disfruto mucho más con este disco que con Untitled. Lástima, Deutschland.
Ahora, veamos qué traen al escenario después de dos años sin poder actuar. Hoy es el primer concierto de la gira europea, en Praga. Estaré asistiendo al concierto el lunes, en esa misma ciudad!
Excelente reseña, ahora me pondré a escuchar este nuevo álbum, sin duda Rammstein ha sido icono de la música y a pesar de que ya ahora son unos abuelos por decirlo, aun siguen haciendo buena música y con lo mejor de su estilo. Saludos !
