Introduction post: Introducing Myself to the Steem community

Hi Fellow Steemians!!!

My name is Lawal Abdul_Qoyum A., popularly known as Harland Pherox, this is my introduction post on the steem Blockchain.

I hail from Osun State in Nigeria but I reside in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, because I am the second child and the first son in my family.

I'm a currently studying Computer Science and Engineering (science option) in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology[LAUTECH], and yes it explains my love for tech & science.
I am into programming, I am learning to develop games using c++. IMG_20190803_125158_0.jpg

I also do graphics and photography.

I am a volunteer at Google Developers Group Ogbomoso.

I am enthusiastic when it comes to learning things that are new, determined to face any challenges plus I don't easily give up.

I am into sports but surely not what you thinking, I do Taekwondo, stunts & parkour. I pretty much love actions. IMG_20190831_095343.jpg

Apart from this I also play Chess, video games (a lot) and at my highest leisure I love to read novels. Whenever I read stories i do prefer reading those that are funny and scary, just like the ones written by R.L Stine(Goosebumps).

My journey to Steem

I came across a flier for a blockchain program on WhatsApp and I decided to attend with my friends, the program was surprising as it was more educative than I expected. The presentation was by @anikys3reasure, and I decided to join the train headed towards the future.

The presentation opened my eye to several things on the block chain network , helped my faulty knowledge about cryptocurrency and how it has been impacting the world in general.

Since I had been pretty well informed at the seminar, putting those instructions into practice hasn't been much of a hassle and am getting to love it.

Am really excited to be amidst fellow steemians and am happy I have seized this golden opportunity.

I'm happy to be part of this community.
I will be posting stuffs related to techs, newest sciences, photography, gaming, programming, stunts & taekwondo.

We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Eight suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, keychain and steemconnect,
  3. The master password is only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit,
    be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once, and
  7. When you open your steemit.com, in the upper right corner of the page there are 3 bars. Click on those, and then on the "welcome", and you will get a lot of reading material that will help you.
  8. Do NOT open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.
