We have our picture back! And life updates

After waiting for our daughter to have a little more time to reverse what was almost lost with clumsy moves and almost lost our account to a hacker, we got our favourite picture back as our introduction photo.

Unfortunately our background photo didn't show much, where our daughter took this picture about over a decade ago when she still had time to go by the sea side with us during one of her day offs.

Those were days when we did not need a walking stick nor sun glasses for Rene to shield her eyes from her weakening cornea; and with the COVID-19 is happening and rising temperature, 90% of our week Rene has to lie down and rest her eyes.

We wished we did not need to retire our sun-setting journey in this way; but I am very sure like most parents during their younger days, "super" seems to be our mindset and we neglect our health for our children's comfort.

That is how parents sacrifice for their children, and even grandchildren, and we can only hope that one day our children will see and appreciate the things we do, though sometimes not to wisest, is we were doing for their best of well being.

As the surgery date closing in, especially Philip's prostate cancer removal procedure, we truly pray that our hospitals will be virus free or not locked down from COVID-19 isolation.

Otherwise, Jesus has to step in and help us with our miracle procedure , where our daughter has not been fading from praying for that to happen.

But maybe, we have to go through this for a reason, and there have been twice we encountered very interesting meetings of different people, from public clinics to hospital, sharing our story and our journey.

Where hope still lives on.

We would be grateful if you would wish us the best. That's more than we can ask for.

And we are enjoying the payouts in exchange to buy grocery from our daughter. At least we can still help around the house.

Best wishes
Philip and Rene
