Golden Hour: eerily beautiful sunset over my Czech hometown

Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!

As usually on Sunday, I am coming with yet another contribution to my regular photography series where I share interesting sunset pictures with you. Just like the last week, the photo that I am going to share with you today features quite an unusually colored scenery...

I took this picture right from our apartment in my Czech hometown of Opava a couple of days ago. The bizarre golden/orange coloration was so vibrant that it kind of looks like a fake in the picture but there really was this amazing spectacle up there in the sky that evening. I had to be quick though. It only lasted for a few minutes and then it was gone. The clouds turned dark blue soon after that and there was not the slightest trace of any "gold" anymore... I was lucky I guess :)

Velmi působivé. Ještěže u nás zapadá slunce na severozápadě. Jinak by tento "obraz" asi nenastal :-)

It's so beautiful. The time right after sunset brings some of the most amazing photos. Can't wait to be able to go out near the sea and have some photos at around this time.. one day - some day maybe. 😀

Thanks man :) Yeah, this specific time of the day sometimes comes with some very interesting things conjured up there :) I hope you too will be able to go out soon again. I know how frustrating it is :(
