Here we are, with the eighth quarterly report in the Photochain Fund life. As announced in an official post more than a year ago by the owner account @davidesimoncini, I decided to introduce the Photochain Fund, by definition "a set of addresses useful for collecting value, in the form of supported tokens or cryptocurrencies, and mainly intended to support the project and to further reward the participants in the Photochain challenge". the Photochain Fund is a project based on the collection of funds obtained thanks to different methods, and on a partial division of the rewards among all the contest participants, following the rules communicated in the official post mentioned above.

We reached the month of January 2023 and, as the initial regulation of the PF foresees, the fourth quarter of collection of the year reached the finish line, the one that went from October to the end of December. Unluckily, the stop of the contest has resulted in less fundraising, despite the number of participants being roughly the same. So, the amount raised for this quarter is 1.1760 HBD, while the balance in HIVE remains the same.

And now it's time for the calculations. As announced in the Launch Post, at the moment 40% of the total amount will be retained, while 60% will be equally divided among the participants.

The magic number that establishes the total number of participants and beneficiaries of the PF share for this first distribution is 31.

60% of 1.1760 is 0.7056 about. With 31 beneficiaries, I decided to round up to reach the sum of 0.713, obtaining

0.023 HBD
as participation share.

Considering that all the beneficiaries are more or less active on the chain or in the contest, once again I will carry out the transactions without requiring prior confirmation.

All those who participated in the eight editions finished before December 31, 2022 (edition from 137th to 144th) will receive their share.

Recapitulating, each beneficiary will receive 0.023 HBD. If your name is in the top of this post as a mentioned user, you are a beneficiary of the share.

IMPORTANT!
Due to an error in the July-September fund allocation, I sent 0.014 HBD to each participant who received a share for the July-September 2022 period.

I distributed the shares in the last few days. You can find your share in your HBD balance.
