This morning as I face the sun
The world begins to slowly cheer up
It's amazing how I always feel relieved
When I'm sitting here, just watching

The sunrise in the new morning light
Alright, I gotta go and do something today
I swear to God I will not spend it wasting time
Guess what I'm going to do? Well, you'll see anyway…

I'm going to take a walk
Help me clear my head and find myself
Walking up is always better than relenting
I gotta embrace the day for what it is and what is really worth

I like before I walk outside
I take a minute just to remind myself
That anything I want is a hurdle
And I've never sat and cried

I do my best to remind myself every night
That it's just one day out of my life
And each day is a new sun
So sometimes I'm feeling really high

And sometimes I sink really low
But there's one thing I'm aware of nowadays
I'll never know if I don't listen.
