Looking at a different angle
I do appreciate a simple life. Living with only the basic needs provides me with more satisfaction than living beyond what I need on a daily basis. Happiness doesn’t always mean that we need spend some money to achieve it. Even a simple activity could provide joy that we don’t get from what money can buy.
This morning I went for a walk and took photos of the plants. I usually do the 45 degree angle with my camera pointing towards the subject. In this session, I’ve done it differently. I did the 90 degree looking downwards to the leaves. In this way, the shapes of the leaves and the pattern on its surface is also revealed.
It such a beautiful site because I realized that leaves have a variety of shapes that is unique among the other plants. The patterns on the surface of the leaves also varies between its own leaves and to the leaves of the other plants. It’s amazing to find that each leaf is unique by itself and nature has the capability to create a distinct appearance for each leaf.
Nature looks simple from a big picture but its complexity is revealed as you look closely. Nature is truly amazing 🤩.
