Awoken by the sound of ringing that will never stop until I make it stop
A tired mind and soul find it difficult to wake up in this cold winter
Feelings are numb when there's no way for me to ignite the passion for life
The moments only happen whenever I make an effort to make it happen

We are meant to discover things beyond what we can see
To learn what our eyes can't see and be the person that we are meant to be
To leave the comforts of our bed and wake up to embrace the day
To learn how to appreciate life as it is and create moments that will last

I'm ready to embrace the warmth of the sun
Today is the day that I will make things happen no matter how tough
Allowing me to experience the life that will bring colors to my dull space
The dark corners of my room will soon feel the warmth too

Imagine a life that doesn't have a path that will lead to your dreams
A life without direction as you sail in the vastness of the ocean
It's moving but it never leads to the place where your heart wants to be
The time has come and I shall be the new person I was meant to be.
