When your dream dies
You lose your reason to hope
It's a lonely place
But don't give up now

You're still standing strong on both your feet
Don't go anywhere else
The future is yours

Here we are again back in the same old place
I failed to share my truth and the words I should have said
I carried too much baggage and anger has now left me wrecked

Now I walk slow and I never make a sound
Hopeless to fight or stand up for me
So I carry the load and learn to carry it well
Because I know what my mistakes cost me in the end

And I know that you still want me around
Don't know what happened to all these tears
I never thought that it would take so long
Know that a star could no longer shine

In the sky after night
It took too long for you to go away
And your love was all that I believed in till just now
But this is a new beginning with a new day.
