"Sign of Light"

I'm walking mindlessly in this dark passage that I chose
With a little speck of light to guide me throughout this journey
Entangled by the responsibilities that crippled my limbs
There's no other way but to keep moving forward

Let me take a moment to think over the options that I have at hand
Allow me to reach into my innermost desires before I sail
This path has given me a new outlook on life that I have never known before
Relieving me of every pain that I had in the past

How many times do I have to recall the dark past?
There's no turning back and so there's no more for me to remorse
Show me the path that will bring me the happiness that I deserve
Allow me to put everything behind me to face a new dawn

It's a different light but it's also a familiar sight
There's a new kind of air that I can breathe
It feels new but it also feels connected to my past
My gratitude will reach the heavens as I send my regards to the above.
