The Vietnamese waiting tourist to bring local around and through the tunnel of some island in Ha Long Bay .
The Senbon Torii, thousands of torii gates. Fushimi Inari is one of several thousand shrines dedicated to the Shinto god of rice, Inari. Taking a walk through the trails of the mountain here, encased in these brilliant red gates feels like a spiritual journey. The significance was lost on a foreigner like me, but I felt welcome and blessed nonetheless.
Most people seem to think of beaches, fields and temples when it comes to Asia. Asia has some really nice modern architecture too. Here's my entry with the floating Apple store in Singapore at sunset.
