Thank you so much @photofeed 😊 Guadeloupe is a very interesting Island. Beautiful and also diverse. White sand beaches but also red and black sand beaches. Rainforests, mountains, cute villages… Can’t wait to go back to explore more.

Hopefully I'm on time to join this competition! 😎

Already noticed a lot of great waterfall pictures. Can't resist but need to comment on a few of them. @dalegribble that waterfall of yours looks amazing, same as @kieranstone! Australia needs to be on my waterfall list to visit sometime! @intrepidphotos what an amazing shot with the water running down that tree and such difficult lightning conditions 👌 And @alfredomora I want to go in the water and swim to the fall really nice capture! Not to forget my fellow dutchie @thijsvermeer I think we share the same love for Iceland! @saraboychuk you've captured something I've never done before a frozen waterfall with the stars. What an amazing feeling it must have been while standing there to capture that beauty? Because I'm Dutch I need to end with a 2for1 @johannpiber, nice shot from the Vintgar gorge in Slovenia. You got a new follower!😆

Now I hope there is some space left for another wonderfull location in Slovenia where you can find this beauty!

Thanks for mentioning, I guess that's true! Once you fall in love with Iceland it makes you wanna be there forever! This is a great picture from Slovenia, I love the color contrast between the blue of the water and the orange in the tree behind. Well balanced! 👌

The border is just half an hour away from where I live. Before the pandemic I have been there 3 or 4 times a month. I have some places which I love to visit.
I have seen quite a few waterfalls there and Slap Peričnik belongs to them :)

Only a half hour!? The same as I have here with Belgium but that isn't as nice as Slovenia just accross the border.🙊 although I can shoot some nice Cityscapes in Belgium with Ghent, Antwerp around the corner. During the pandemic you weren't able to cross the border that easily?

Next time I'm in the area I'll give you a sign I believe I still don't know all the gems hidden in Slovenia, what a beautiful country!

The rules changed almost weekly and sometimes I had to wait quite a while at the border when I returned, so I said that Slovenia will wait for me and I will appreciate it even more when I'm not there for a longer time 😊

Slovenia is a lovely country where tourism is still in its baby shoes and I wished the language would be easier to speak and to read 😆

Hello! Here's my entry. I took this shot at the Niagara Falls in 2018:

Living at a dry and arid area, waterfalls are not my strong suit! But I do have a picture that I am very fond of and I have used it more than once in similar occasions :)

This waterfall is called Fonisa or Neraida. I found it in the west part of the island of Kythira, in Greece. According to a local myth a woman killed another woman at this very spot so the place took the name Fonissa which in Greek means female killer, although I prefer the second name Neraida that means fairy and fits better to what I saw.

Not the most spectacular waterfall but when you consider the photo was taken in Death Valley in July, kind of surprising. Darwin Falls, California USA.
