In the fields and on the trees,
A tiny bird flits with such ease.
A sparrow, small and unassuming,
Yet captivating, and always bustling.

Its feathers brown and gray,
A cheerful chirp, its only way
To tell the world of its presence,
And to claim its small essence.

In the morning light, it takes flight,
And searches for seeds and insects in sight.
Building nests of twigs and grass,
A home for its young, a perfect mass.

In winter, it braves the cold,
Huddling with others, a sight to behold.
Chirping merrily, despite the chill,
A symbol of resilience, and indomitable will.

Oh, little sparrow, so full of life,
A symbol of hope in a world of strife.
Teach us to be cheerful, come what may,
To sing our song, day after day.
