No More Running.

I returned to the fight with a strategy focused on dodging and using gas cylinders to conserve ammo. After surviving the beast's speed and power, I activated my beast mode to finish the fight at close range. Kyle then extracted and injected the creature's essence, gaining significant strength before seeking out the survivors' sheriff.

After getting back to the battlefield with a clearer head, I decided to try a different strategy this time without wasting all the bullets on the beast right away. I kept my handgun holstered, watching the monster's twitching limbs as I waited for it to make the first move.

I was like dodging all the attacks of the beast while luring him towards the gas cylinders so I could damage him with some firepowers. I stayed light on my feet, baiting the creature into charging toward me.

But the beast was too fast for my initial plan and it got hold of me for some time. For a terrifying second, I thought the mission was over again.

I kept trying to pin the beast down by luring it to unused and unexplored gas cylinders scattered around the room, but it was too strong against those fires. It seemed to thrive on the chaos, barely slowing down despite the scorching heat.

When I noticed the beast lost a significant amount of health and after I was getting bored escaping from its wrath, I decided to fight him from close quarter. I drew my melee weapon and stepped into the beast's reach. The time for running was over, and I could feel the monster's energy finally beginning to drain.

And suddenly my beast mode was ready to use which gave me a good chance to attack the beast without fear. And at last I drained all its health as the creature finally slumped to the ground, defeated and broken.

Kyle updated Olivia with the news of this chimera being down for good. And Olivia suggested Kyle to inject it while it's fresh to ensure the genetic material didn't degrade. So Kyle did it right away.

There were two parts that Kyle extracted from the fallen creature. One will be used for him and the other will be saved for Olivia's own enhancement later. So he used his part right away and it looked like he got stronger already.

Then I had to talk to the people, the survivors, who were like having their last moments inside the crumbling building. They looked at Kyle with a mix of awe and terror after witnessing the fight. One of them told Kyle he'd have to meet their sheriff up on a tower next, to coordinate their escape from the infested zone.
