Higher Ground.

I fought through infected hallways and scaled a tall building to find the sheriff fighting on a tower. After convincing her of my intentions, I took a zip line down to a generator room. A mistaken gunshot at a playing dead infected, which then cornered me as the horde approaches.

I came out of the room to find the sheriff as planned, but there came more infected spilling out from the stairwell. One of them attacked me right away. I barely had time to raise my weapon before it was on top of me, forcing a desperate struggle for control.

After taking down the first infected, I noticed there were more gathering at the end of the long hallway. So I took them down with melee strikes and fire explosions, using a cylinder to create a wall of flame. The heat was intense, but it provided the distraction I needed to push through the remaining hostiles safely.

After checking around for a moment, I understood I actually had to climb up to the building. I started climbing the walls that I couldn't before when I was fighting the chimera.

After climbing up to the height of this floor, I had to take care of an infected on my way. I understood I needed to get more higher to reach the main tower section, so I started checking around.

After getting to this place, I found a survivor who was injured and hiding behind some crates. He told me the sheriff was fighting infected up on the tower and needed immediate assistance.

Then I started climbing up to the sheriff, but it looked like a long climb through some puzzles involving shifting platforms and narrow gaps. I had to time my jumps perfectly to avoid falling back to the lower floor.

After getting on top, I found the sheriff was fighting some infected, and it looked like she was well trained in close combat. She moved with a lethal efficiency that was impressive to witness. Kyle hardly convinced her that he was on their side, as she kept her weapon leveled at him initially.

The sheriff gave me a task first where I had to restore the electric power on to the sector. I had to use the zip slide to get down on a roof that had some infected wandering there.

Right after jumping down, I took care of an infected that was feasting on a dead body. Then I found there was a dead body that the infected was feasting on nearby. The sight was gruesome, but at least I was in the right place to find the generator.

After ignoring the remaining infected on the roof, I walked inside this room where I should have found the generator machine. But there was this infected who played dead among the shadows. It tried to attack me next, so I had to take him down, and I shot him by mistake.

The sound of the shot attracted to the remaining infected on the outside who were coming towards me after hearing the loud noise. I realized that I was cornered in this small room with only one exit.
