After the Chase Ended.

After escaping a high-stakes volatile chase into the safety of daylight, Kyle called Olivia, who requested an urgent meeting. After navigating the infected-filled monastery grounds and scaling a large pipe into the perimeter, Olivia injected Kyle with a protective booster syringe and directed him to another Chimera site.

Right when the volatiles appeared, a chase started, and it was a high stakes chase for sure. Fortunately, I reached the end of the tunnel in one chance, sprinting frantically through the dark corridors with the monsters close behind.

Right when I went outside the tunnel and into light, the volatiles stopped, as they are not allowed to get out into light. And now I got sure, daytime is safe from them, while I watched them hiss and retreat back into the dark.

All the volatiles went back into the tunnel, and then Kyle called Olivia to tell about this journey. Olivia asked him to meet her urgently, and her voice sounding incredibly serious over the radio static.

It felt great to see daylight after a long and creepy time in the dark tunnel. I stood at the exit for sometimes to absorb the warm sunshine on the grassy hillside.

Now that I had to visit the monastery and meet Olivia, I started doing my parkour moves to get to the monastery as fast as I could, as it did sound urgent.

But after getting to the monastery area, the first thing I did was climbing up on the wrong building, that offered no way forward into the main courtyard.

I climbed down, and then I tried to climb up the correct building. But I never thought it would be this hard, because I was not just getting to the correct path, and there were infected all around.

At last, I found this big pipe that I used to climb up on top of that building. And then I jumped inside the perimeter, dropping softly.

After getting to Olivia, she injected Kyle with another booster that was meant for her, mentioning Kyle would need it, though Kyle seemed confused about it.

Then Olivia said I would need to extract more of this booster from Chimera. And she gave me a location of another Chimera in a hostile terrain. And then I used the couch to give Kyle some rest after all he has been through.
