Questioning Olivia about Fisher's chimera creations, I set out and commandeered a park ranger truck to plow through hordes of infected. After smashing the vehicle to dislodge a fast runner and jumping out just before my burning truck exploded, I climbed a mountain to secure a second ranger vehicle.
Before getting out to look for the chimera, I decided to try talking to Olivia again. But I got a chance to ask why did Fisher create chimeras and what was her job in the lab. And I don't know why I suspect her.
Well then I got out of that monastery and I had to go a long way. So suddenly I remembered that I could try driving a vehicle, so I spotted an abandoned set of wheels parked right near a village.
I found this ranger truck by the village that was surrounded by infected. But after getting inside, I was harmless from them for the moment. And I was like running over all of them, flooring the gas pedal to smash through the crowd blocking the way.
And suddenly, this fast infected jumped on the truck and she reminded me of the high-speed runner of Dead Island 2. And I had to crash over another vehicle to shake her off.
While I was driving real fast to the designated location, while I kept running over things and infected, suddenly I noticed smoke and fire coming out of the vehicle that even burned an infected on the way.
I jumped out of the car as fast as I could. I somehow realized the car was about to blow up. And after running to a far, I noticed it actually blew up. I was damn right about running away fast otherwise I'd get good damage.
From the map, I noticed there was another vehicle nearby. So I started climbing that mountain. And after getting on the high ground, I found another ranger truck. And there were also infected around, but the truck was not surrounded for the moment, giving me a clean window to open the driver side door and slide inside.

Questioning Olivia about the lab creations raised some serious suspicions right from the start. Honestly, I don't blame you for being suspicious of her, as she's giving off major mad scientist vibes from the very beginning.

The moment smoke started pouring out of the truck made me nervous. I could tell the vehicle wasn't going to last much longer.

Finding that abandoned ranger truck by the village was a total lifesaver with that massive horde blocking the road. That runner absolutely had major Dead Island 2 vibes with how fast she jumped and the appearance has similarity as well if I'm not wrong.

After running over the infected with the car the explosion looked just like something out of a Hollywood movie. Playing such a beautiful game is really satisfying. Thank you for capturing such amazing screenshots. I need to learn how to take screenshots like that too.

Olivia is definitely hiding something about those chimera creations, I completely agree with your suspicion there. It's definitely right to suspect her after that sketchy lab conversation.
I agree completely. The way she acted during that scene just didn't sit right with me.
Running zombies over with a truck is always a different kind of fun but not in Resident Evil. hehehe and I honestly really liked the mountain climbing part. Even though it wasn't a very big mountain. It was fun to watch.
Resident Evil really doesn't let us have too much fun with vehicles, does it?
