Exploring The Baroque Facade At Paseo De Santiago

I so admired the architectural design of the Baroque facade at Paseo de Santiago when I visited Iligan City. Indeed, it was so stunning with its fantastic details that reflect a great innovation of classic and elegance.

The building had a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. And that when I arrived at the area, I felt serenity as I captured the moment with a touch of elegance and beauty of the lush surroundings. And it was surrounded by palm trees with various colorful flowers that even added elegance to the tourist attraction.

I was walking all around the corner, and I noticed the delighted faces of the people who were also enjoying the scenery as they captured beautiful photos. The first thing I noticed was the statue of the knight with its sword and armor while reading the sign of Paseo de Santiago.

The building has a towering height, and its Baroque style invited me to take a lot of selfies there. It was like a photo opportunity with a particular knight as I stood behind him. I had a big smile when the photo was captured timely. And then, I entered inside and saw many tourists taking selfies in the building.

There was also a great sculpture of a huge tree right beside the building surrounded by white, pink, and purple bougainvillea plants. I so love these flowers for their vibrant colors, but they were full of thorns. I even remember that when I was young, I used to drop these flowers when I was a flower girl at a wedding.

I wondered how the construction workers made the building, so I touched the wall. Meanwhile, I observed that the surface of the walls had designs of carvings, sculptures, and rare stones. Suddenly, it made me remember the structures of the buildings during ancient times, specifically the biblical scenes and mythological settings.

Consequently, I walked around the building and was genuinely captivated by its walk of art. I must say that the structure was a stunning masterpiece, as the Paseo De Santiago is a place full of beauty and surprises.

And then, I noticed a miniature Coca-Cola Truck with Santa as its model parked just a few meters away from the building. The truck has the classical colors of the brand, and its red and white colors perfectly complemented the warm colors of the Baroque facade at Paseo de Santiago.

Beside that Coca-cola truck was a huge stone that looked like an ancient matter. Afterward, I placed myself on top of the rock to see a higher and brighter view of the place, as the camera also captured me.

Not only the baroque facade of the building, but there are more surprises to explore here as it is located in an area near the sea, and I am feeling like it is a perfect place for anyone who loves to capture ancient figures. Perhaps my visit to Paseo de Santiago was worth remembering, with so much to explore, and it was a delightful surprise that made my day.
