The beautiful shades of blue at Donarc Resort made me relaxed and calm. What a wonderful experience to just sit down as I took a rest for a while and enjoyed watching the picturesque view. Perhaps I felt the wild heart of nature before me while feeling the serenity at the beach.

I woke up early at 3:00 a.m. for the planned travel to Donarc Resort at Initao, Misamis Oriental, Philippines from my hometown, Bukidnon. I loaded my bags with several stuffs and fully charged my phone as it is one of the most important objects for me to take snapshots. I was a bit sleepy but at the same time too excited about the escapade.

It took us more than two hours to arrive at the destination. But I was a bit sad when we arrived since there were many travelers and it was hard for us to get a cottage. We did not know that we had to book during weekends since there were many tourists.

When I arrived at the resort, I talked to the staff, she said the resort was fully booked. However, the good thing, is that we were permitted to enter not with a cottage but the umbrella cottage reserved for the hotel users was given to us. I was so happy that we had a spot.

Although it was so hot to stay there since the rays of the Sun hit us directly, still I enjoyed watching the scenic views with the happy faces of many travelers. I took quick shots of the views and later I ordered a Mango shake. We Filipinos are truly fanatics when it comes to cold desserts, not to mention that Mango shake is one of the best cold desserts to sip on a hot afternoon.

I wanted to have a shot at all angles because I love the details on it. I love to witness this kind of experience rather than staying at home on a weekend. I enjoyed the day and I must say that the beautiful shades of blue were so amazing.

From the colors of the clouds to the shades of the seawater with the cool waves, along with the neutral tones of the sand, everything was so perfect for unwinding at Donarc Resort. Perhaps the blue shades made my day and I got a lot of selfies!
