I had a great time today as I got the chance to explore the road less traveled at a distance but just located at my home sweet home, Bukidnon, particularly in Old 12 Libona, Philippines.

As the workers said when we went there, this place is historical since this is one of the oldest pineapple fields since the Americans came to the Philippines and established a company now known as the Delmonte plantation.

You know after almost a week of having influenza, I am feeling better but I am still taking medications. Although I am feeling good, I still have a cough and my colds yet I could now stand and do the things I used to be like exploring a place full of serenity. And as I explore earlier, I am bringing with me my medicines.

Since today is a National holiday in my country in observance of the feast of sacrifice or the feast of Islam, I was fortunate enough to travel to Old 12, not to mention that we were invited for a celebration, and it was fun meeting friends and new faces.

Not only the delicious food awaited me on my travel but as well as a serene place wherein we were taking the road less traveled. I call it this way since this road is not intended for the use of everyone. And that, the road less taken made my day which turned into both a moment of reflection and appreciation even of simple things that surround me.

The path that we took was not cemented and it is surrounded by pineapple fields. Indeed, this place is not intended as a public road since only the workers are allowed to go here and nearby residents who worked for Del Monte.

After taking the public road while going to a friend’s house, I was curious about the path at the back of their house so I told my brother to pass there when we will go home so I could explore more about the place. So we headed to the not crowded path, and only workers in the fields were there.

When we went far from the workers, the road was becoming even more serene. And then while going around, I was mesmerized by the surrounding view. What I love about this area is its greenery with the whole being surrounded by sweet and huge pineapples.

I found the place a perfect spot to take a selfie so I had so many candid snaps. You know wherever I may go, my travel would not be complete without taking a photo of myself at my favorite spot.

This time I am not in pink, but this is one of my favorite wears especially when I have no work since I felt comfortable moving everywhere I go. But when I am at work, I do wear formal attire.

So here I am enjoying the beautiful view and the priceless moment as I embrace the road less taken with my casual wear in rustic colors. Perhaps I enjoyed my holiday and I felt energized and refreshed as I explored a scenic view.

Awww, thank you so much for your kind words my friend, but this is just me. Heheh. I see, I have seen it in the calendar but it is not declared a holiday, only today, another eid feast. Today is Eid al Adha, the feast of sacrifice. Once again thank you so much.

Awesome selfies. Should I start taking selfies too? hahaha. Anyways, I !LUV the story and the selfies. Historical sites are the best, and to me, stories like this bring out the importance of farmers and the hard work it takes to bring food to our table. I can't imagine how many pineapples they harvested in this place. It must have been a lot. Glad to hear that you are feeling much better now. Btw, nice ang outfit mo. 🍍🍍🍍

I have not seen your selfies here in Hive bro, hehe. Yes, why not? Heheh. Thanks much for the appreciation bro, but this is just me. By the way, that is a Thai outfit. Honestly, I love to wear styles from BKK. Shall I say most of my clothes are from there in different colors and designs? Hehe, he. Have a nice day and keep safe bro.

Hey, I was just joking around. I'm not really serious about taking selfies and posting it here. I would rather just post pics of my veggie creations or just some random photos from the street in case i do get more time to creating content. 😁😁😁
