Visiting The Dental Cafe And Stumbling Over A Special Section

One fine afternoon, I visited the dental cafe in Cagayan De Oro City. From my hometown, it took me more than an hour to travel.

Every month, my day will start with visiting my dentist for my braces adjustment. It was a weekend. Hence many clients booked an appointment. I felt uncomfortable, so I went outside the dental cafe and had second thoughts about going somewhere while waiting for the dentist to call me.

While waiting for my turn, I visited a mall nearby and stumbled upon a section specially dedicated to all women of the world. I saw beautiful words at the center portion that says “WOMEN of the world.”

Even at first glance, I was struck timely with the area, and the management intended it for a photo opportunity for International Women's Month. I was mesmerized by the site as artists decorated it with vivid, bright, and colorful flower symbols of women's empowerment. I realized that every woman should be cared for and treated well.

So I did not hesitate to take a selfie at the center, but there were lots of people behind my back. How I wish I were the only one on a frame. But still, I enjoyed an extraordinary place intended for every woman like me.

Indeed, the particular section I encountered was a beautiful reminder of how resilient every woman is. And that the strength and resilience of women worldwide should be celebrated not only during the month but throughout a woman’s existence.

Meanwhile, I went to the bags section and beauty section. I saw the bags and cosmetics were on sale, so I bought one. When I checked my phone, a message from the dentist's secretary told me to return since it was my turn. So I hurriedly went back to the dental cafe.

And when I reached my destination, I was happy to see my dentist, who approached me gently and was so friendly. It was my first time encountering him since he was the dentist on duty.

When the dentist asked me which rubber color I wanted for my braces, I chose pink. What I love about pink is its reflection associated with girlhood and femininity. It is even so obvious that I love pink, as my username displays.

Afterward, the dentist noticed that some of my braces were gone on my three teeth, so he offered to give me a treat just for this month, so I got free, and I felt delighted. When it was successfully adjusted, I took a lot of selfies outside the dental cafe. I went home with extensive and brighter smiles.

Pampering myself makes me happy every time. I always care for myself because I firmly believe that if not for me, no one would watch more than I am as I embrace all my flaws and imperfection.

And on this Women's International Day, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to every beautiful and resilient woman. You are all incredible and keep on shining at your glow.
