Hola a todos cinéfilos y amantes de las series, tenía tiempo sin publicar en esta maravillosa comunidad, pero me anime ya que me he consumido un montón de series, doramas y películas de netflix y otras plataformas streamming por lo que creo que publicare seguido sobre eso, hoy quiero hablar sobre una serie su coreana que me llamo mucho la atención debido a que rompe con los esquemas que se desarrollan normalmente en la mayoría de las series de este estilo. El afecto de Rey en una seria para ver de principio a fin y una historia de amor muy bonita en él que dos corazones se unen aun sin importar las reglas impuestas durante esa época.

Sipnosis
La serie comienza la historia con el nacimiento de un par de gemelos, uno de los gemelos era el Príncipe Lee Hwi, heredero al trono de Joseon y su gemela Dam-yi representaba una clara amenaza a la disnastia si se conocía que el príncipe heredero había compartido el vientre con una mujer, algo que hoy en día parece irrisorio pero en esa época era lo que dictaban las costumbres, el abuelo de los gemelos y padre de la reina al enterarse de esto y viendo que su posición podía ser afectada, decide asesinar a todos los presentes en el nacimiento de los bebes y todos aquellos que supieran de su existencia, también pide que la niña sea asesinada para ocultar lo que había pasado, el rey y padre de los niños acepta; pero la reina pide clemencia y con ayuda de algunos amigos y con acupuntura fingen su muerte, para luego enviar lejos a la niña a crecer fuera de palacio sin que nadie se enterase. Al crecer Dam-yi logra conseguir un trabajo en palacio y conoce a Jung Ji-woon un joven inteligente y amable que se enamora de ella.
Por otro lado, Lee Hwi se entera de la existencia de Dam-yi quien extrañamente luce exactamente como el, y la utiliza para escabullirse fuera de palacio y ver a uno de sus maestros que fue inculpado por ciertos delitos y sacado de palacio, más adelante se enteran de que dam-yi está en palacio y viva y piden que esta sea asesinada de inmediato. Synopsis

Opinión
Debo decir que ha sido uno de las series de época más emocionantes que he visto, al romper con los esquemas en el que muestran al hombre como el que está en el poder y quien debe salvar todo el tiempo a la dama, empoderan a la mujer como un ser igualitario que puede luchar y decidir su destino. Por otro lado, algo que me encanta de los dramas de época son las locaciones y lo los trajes que usan, son hermosos los trajes que usan las mujeres y muy bien confeccionados, y las edificaciones de palacio realmente nos transporta a la época de Joseon.
Otra cosa que hay que resaltar en la dinámica y química entre los protagonistas, hubo partes en que realmente creí que eran dos hombres que estaban enamorados, algo impensable para esa época ya que el confusionismo defiende a la estructura de la familia por sobre todo, tambien en otras partes cuando la esposa de Lee hwi se enamora de ella crei que estaba viendo una escena de dos mujeres enamoradas. Para Corea, un país donde aún ciertos aspectos del confusionismo aún están marcado, sobre todo en las personas mayores y donde las mayorías de las series apenas muestran uno que otro beso, dista mucho de las series convencionales.
Opinion
I must say that it has been one of the most exciting period series that I have seen, by breaking with the schemes in which they show the man as the one in power and who must save the lady all the time, they empower the woman as an egalitarian being who can fight and decide his destiny. On the other hand, something that I love about period dramas is the locations and the costumes they wear, the costumes that women wear are beautiful and very well made, and the palace buildings really transport us to the Joseon era.
Another thing that must be highlighted in the dynamics and chemistry between the protagonists, there were parts in which I really believed that they were two men who were in love, something unthinkable for that time since confusion defends the structure of the family above all, too Elsewhere when Lee Hwi's wife falls in love with her she thought she was watching a scene of two women in love. For Korea, a country where certain aspects of confusion are still marked, especially in the elderly and where the majority of the series barely show the one or the other kiss, is far from the conventional series.

The plot seems very good to me, for the setting and for everything the protagonist has to do to keep the secret. Although it would call my attention more if it was a romance between two men, it would be something more transgressive for the time of the story hahaha. But anyway it looks good, I don't promise to watch it soon, but I'll keep an eye on it in the future. I watch few Doramas or Kdramas because they seem too much like soap operas to me, but I know I should open my mind a bit and watch some of these doramas that the public likes so much.
Gracias por darle una oportunidad, aunque se que tienes gustos un poco mas oscuros y sangrientos jejeje, pero últimamente Corea esta sacando producciones muy buenas para todos los gustos tipo hellhound, alice in the bonderland y sweet home que tal vez te llamarían la atención. Creo que dentro de poco estaré hablando de alguna de ellas.
