Hello there everyone! Woah it's been quite a long time since the last time I had posted something for my pitik photography. Well it is all because I bought a used DSLR camera which I'm testing out since using a DSLR is way way different than using my bridge camera. I've bought a couple of things too to improve the quality of my photos like a 50mm prime lens so I can boast that bokeh that I so desperately want. I mean what good is a portrait picture without any bokeh right?

Anyways yesterday the 3 people you can see in the first photo are the guest photographers from Carcar City who visited our humble town of Sibonga for a little photography collaboration with us. Well I said collaboration but it's more like them doing the photography while I was only there to observe them and how they do things coz honestly I am a newbie photographer with a 1 year experience using a bridge camera. Using a DSLR is way difficult but much more rewarding per se well to me anyways.

The guy wearing the red bandana and white T-shirt is another photographer here in our small town of Sibonga. I wanted to recruit him to blog here in Hive as well but since his facebook page is already booming and he can already earn money from his vlogs in his fb page that I don't think him blogging here would be lucrative. Anyways he is like a mentor to me and one of the reasons why I started "Pitik Photography" in the first place coz he is a very well known "Mamitikay"/"Street Photographer" here in our town.

Upon arrival of our guests photographers we talked for probably around 30 minutes before they started their action and man I really was lucky to be there. These guys are monsters compared to me... Their confidence to approach people to ask them if they could be their models is absolutely amazing. Plus they have that "Photographer" outlook and creativity that I really lack the most. They can recognize which part of our park can be a good background for the photo and they are not bound by a single place unlike me. They will move their models around if needed be just to get that perfect photo that they invisioned and true enough their works are amazing. I would have love to share some of their works here but I can't or don't want to. You can visit their facebook pages which are public so you can take a look at some of their works if you want. My fellow Sibonga Photographer Angkol Mar Photography, the one wearing the red bandana. The one in the middle of the first photo is Claydee Captures which is also another mentor of mine and I really love his work the most. The first guy in the first photo is South46 Vlog and the last one in the first photo which is also the last photo of the collection above is Hugot ni Love Koh.

Other photographers in Sibonga also came but I wasn't able to take a picture of them since they didn't participate in the photography collab since they didn't bring their camera along with them. They were there to observe just like me. Although I did bring my camera along with me and took pictures of them doing their things.

Honestly this was probably one of the days which I will remember coz I had a lot of fun watching them. Plus I've learned quite a lot. I just hope I'll be able to recognize scenes just like these guys with just one look. Man pro's really are quite different than amatuers like me. If you have the time you can try visiting their facebook pages and seeing their work. It would be great if I could convert them all to share their work here in Hive. I'm just not sure how they would compete to the pros here in Hive but I think all of them could make it here if they wanted to in my honest opinion but then again an opinion of someone such as me doesn't really count lol

I've shot all of these pictures using my Nikon D5300 paired with a Yongnuo 50mm F1.8 Lens. So far I'm loving the photos I get from this cheap prime lens compare to my sucky kit lens. I'm curious to see what do you guys think? Are these shots good enough? What do you think I need in order to improve my shots? Please do leave a comment coz I'm eager to know and learn :)

Anyways I guess this is the end for todays episode guys. I hope y'all like and enjoy these photos till next time guys, see yah!
