The Story Of Pipin The Tiny Kitten i Found, Protected, And Cherished Always

i first found her when she was barely even here in the world still soft and tiny and so new to everything. someone had just given birth to her and left her behind all alone small enough to fit right in the palm of my hand. i did not even think twice i picked her up wrapped her gently and brought her home to be mine. i called her pinpin most days but more often than not, the name just rolls off my tongue as pipin short and sweet and full of warmth just like she is.

from the very start she has been the liveliest little soul i have ever known. there is never a dull moment with pipin around. she runs through the house like the floor is made of clouds darting from one corner to the next chasing sunbeams that stretch across the floor in the afternoon pouncing on invisible little things only she can see. her tail stands tall and straight like a little flag when she is happy and her eyes bright and round and green light up every single time i walk into the room.

she greets me with tiny excited meows winding herself around my ankles, purring so deep and loud it feels like a little motor humming right against my skin. even when she is just sitting still watching the world go by she looks so full of life so ready for whatever comes next. she is always moving always curious always wanting to know what i am doing what i am holding where i am going next.

when she was still small and growing fast i started putting a soft light pink collar around her neck. i did it not to keep her chained or tied down but to keep her safe. i know how curious she is how eager to wander and explore every little thing outside our door. i was so afraid she would slip out without me noticing roam too far and get lost or hurt.

and more than anything else i wanted to protect her heart and her body too i did not want her wandering out and getting pregnant too young before she was even fully grown herself. that little collar is not a lock it is my quiet promise to her that i will look after her that she stays right here where it is safe where i can keep her close and care for her every single day.

she does not mind it at all i think. she still plays just as hard still climbs still stretches every inch of herself like she owns every bit of space she is in. she chases little bugs, rolls over on her back when she feels silly and trots around with that same bright energy she had since the very first day. nothing slows her down nothing dims that spark in her eyes.

when she is tired after all that running and jumping, she curls up right beside me tucking her little paws neatly under her chest and lets out that soft steady purr that means she feels safe and loved. sometimes she will nudge my hand with her wet little nose just to ask for one more scratch behind her ears before she drifts off to sleep warm and trusting right there next to me.

pipin is not just a cat to me. she is the little life i saved the one who was left behind but never felt alone again because we found each other. every day she grows a little bigger a little stronger but she is still that same tiny baby i carried home my sweet lively wonderful girl my pinpin, my pipin always. ❤️💕
