BYD Sealion 5 Review | The Best of Both Worlds Hybrid & EV?

So back to the review!

THIS is the new hybrid from BYD - the Sealion 5 DM-i, and we travelled down to Telford to see it being unveiled, and to spend a little of time with it. Road trip - Yeah, baby! Seriously though, we do love a good road tri,p here at Planetauto! (On that note, our two new kittens did not love us going over night on said road trip...oh dear!)

It's a good looking family SUV that has a clever powertrain - and by that I mean that it's dual mode, so in essence it behaves (and drives) like an EV most of the time, and the petrol engine only comes into play when it needs to...clever stuff, really.

It's available in two trims, the Comfort and the Design, priced at £29,995.00 and £32,995.00 respectively and can offer over 600 miles of range on a full charge and a full tank of petrol.
