Part One of our MG4 XPower Road Trip

avatar

Last year we got to take the new MG4 on a reallllly long road trip - yay, Scotland!

And now, the fully electric family hatchback that costs less than £33K on the road now has a power twin, the XPower (aptly named, don't you think?)

Here we take a closer look at how the XPower differs from the MG4 - and why this is a real supercar chaser...

As we went so far in the MG4 it was nice to be a little closer to home for this road trip, and it was jolly nice to show you some of the delightful places to visit that are here in The Lake District.

Thank you all, and enjoy!
Annabelle 😊

Does it have a 'mild' mode for normal driving? I wouldn't mind the boy racers as much if they went whoosh rather than making those farty noises. They have have the speed limit sign blinking at them on the dash.

I hope to drive our MG4 some more so I can do a report, but my son hogs it.

Have you managed to get behind the wheel yet, @steevc?

The MG4 XPower has a dynamic mode, which is fierce (so much so, I ended up travel sick) but if you hold it down not in dynamic mode, it's a smooth ride. I'm not into the farty noises either, lol.

I've only driven ours a couple of times. I need more experience before I write it up.

Meanwhile our solar panels and battery are being installed this week, so we should save a bit on the bills.

Oh, nice! Ben and I are going to look into solar panels when we get the roof done here. No idea when though, as we are still going through probate (sigh!)

It seems like a good investment these days. Hope you get all that stuff sorted soon.

So do we, lol! It's one of those "how long's a piece of string" scenarios though.
