My life in the new world
A day in my life in the New World.
I wake up in one of my home towns, ready to head out into the world. Somehow, it's always dark when I leave.
My goal? Like always: Iron.
It's early still, so I'm lucky enough to find plenty of iron around. I even manage to find some starmetal!
My bags quickly fill up with ore, but wait, I need more than that! Can't forget the fibers to make linen, sateen and silk.
Luckily, I know a great place for hemp. So off I go to gather a load of fibers.
It's still early, so all of the nodes are there. If I were to come back later in the day, all I'll manage to do here is to increase my list of archenemies. Everyone will be stealing my hemp!
Happy with my three extra bags, I still have some space left to gather the ever needed refining materials.
Time to fight some enemies!

Even easier, no enemy in sight!
Bags filled to the brim with all sorts of crafting goodies, it is now time to return home to level up my skills. It is also now light outside.

Aah, Windsward. This is where I know my way around.
I refine all of my materials, ignoring that I need more charcoal again to refine my starmetal, and head over to an outfitting station. The easiest way to level up my armoring. This is when I realize I am out of silk.
Sigh...
I drop my crafting materials into my storage, recall to my home in Mourningdale and get ready to head back out. Time to do this thing all over again.
I just hope it'll stay light out this time...

The name of this game? It looks great.
This is the MMO New World. It looks awesome indeed, I especially love the lighting (sunrises and sunsets 😍)! It is a bit of a grindy game, but it's kept me pretty busy so far. Not sure how well it will hold up in the long run.
Ahh ya, this is the famous amazon game, it looks super cool, I can see why they say it fries the graphics cards, the detail levels are impressive.

Ah the same shit different day scenario for a New World player...
Need to collect on a big resource run, always need more ore and fibers! Got to collect other mats from chests and back to another session of making and crafting in town so you can get that higher level of your crafting skills. 😅
It's suuuuuch a grind for a few levels of crafting. It's starting to lose it's shine, but whenever I do log in and head out into the world, I somehow manage to keep myself busy for a couple of hours 😅
