Guess who's here? Playmaker is on hive! Introductory post.

Laziness..laziness..laziness, laziness is a bad disease. It is horrible and terrible. Let laziness creep into your life and you will be hungry, you will want, you will be unhappy, you will be miserable. Laziness will make poverty overtake you like a vagabond. In all things avoid laziness and success will crown your efforts.

I began with this short poem on my introduction because I have really learnt from my mistakes. Imagine what I would be posting by now if I had listened to my friend @yahuzah the moment he introduced me to hive few months ago. I would have had a lot of posts by now.

This is me😎

The fresh guy you see in the above picture is me😍, Alhassan Abdul Basit. I am a muslim by religion and situated at Kumasi, Ghana. I come from a family of eight with six girls and two boys, me being the second born. I attended El- Goshen School Complex as basic, moved to T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School as secondary and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree program in Biochemistry at University for Development Studies.

Clearly you can see that I'm the fine boy on the left holding a sample for my practicals😅. The guy on my right is @yahuzah, a very close friend of mine who introduced me to hive. Awww, I almost forgot to mention my age. I'm a christmas boy oooo, it takes speciality to be born on the same date as mine because 25th December, 2001 is not for the weak😉.

Brief about myself and what I like.

As mentioned earlier, Alhassan Abdul Basit is my name but I'm popular with the name playmaker; Curious, right??I'll explain to you before I end my introduction. I was the only son in my nuclear family until my mom was blessed with another boy just last year.

My family is really helpful and supportive and I can really count on them in times of need. I don't want to talk about my mom, that woman has saved me multiple times from my dad whenever I make errors ready to be beaten,she has always been savior. As my father, I won't talk about him because he is a real definition of discipline.

Now, let's talk about what I really like doing. As seen in the below picture, it's me controlling a football with my chest. A football at my feet makes me forget my worries.

How did I get the name playmaker??

My colleagues call me playmaker because of my style of play on the field of play. I play as an attacker and I love to control the game from the midfield till we break through the opponent's defence and finish with a goal. I am also the captain of my team as shown in the image below,that's me.

Manchester United has been my childhood and dream team, I really love them and support them and there is no doubt they make English Premier League more ecxiting with their surprises😂.

What else can I say?

Well, I'm really friendly and not tempered but when I get angry, you wouldn't see the usual playmaker you know so I really do my best to control my anger. Staying indoors? Count me out. I don't know how I can survive a day without going out, I really want to be active most of the times. My friends around me always love my company because I'm not the boring type, if you don't enjoy my company then I guess there is no hope for you, you will miss all my 99 ideas and uncountable IQs.

Aside soccer,I enjoy watching athletes run, dancing and also watching movies. Feel free to consult me when you need any advice, you can ask my colleages how good I educate them on their relationships.

Let's end with what I dislike.

I really don't like people who are hypocrites, people who are liars and also unfaithful. I am not really a shy type because I always want to draw people closer and help them solve their issues, infact I'm a problem solver.

When it comes to girls, I have really good relationships with them, most of them always feel good being on my side because of how truthful I am and the kind of advice I always give them. They always say I'm easy to talk to and a good listener as well.

Currently, I'm the entertainment chairman for my school, the University for Development Studies' Biochemistry students, guess what? It has really been fun so far in my tenure of office.

I write this post introducing myself and I know from the way I am, I'll engage with a whole of people here and it's going to be fun and educative. I'm really happy I am finally doing this, thank you all for your time and attention. I hope and wish myself a successful journey on this great platform. Hive is the main deal!!!
