Hello CCH friends, I hope you are always in good health and blessed.

In this post I want to share a number of photo moments at cultural festivals. This is the second edition of the cultural festival event that took place in the city of Takengon. In this post you will see a number of photos in portrait form.

Takengon City is known as an Eco Tourism city because it has a number of beautiful natural tourist spots. This annual festival is a new attraction for tourists in the city of Takengon. A number of students participated in this event wearing traditional costumes and modified modern parade costumes.

These students carried out a parade by going around the main crossroads in the city center. They marched over long distances, up to several kilometers. The residents enthusiastically stood on the side of the road to see a number of attractions exhibited by the parade participants.

Each group of parade participants carried a nameplate or banner bearing the name of their school. These students were accompanied by teachers and gentlemen from each school representative. A number of security and health committees have been on standby at a number of points stationed.

A number of costumes that stole the attention were costumes from used goods, newspaper paper which were designed to be attractive parade costumes. They also presented a fashion show with the appearance of a coffee farmer. In fact, not only that, a number of developing cultures in Indonesia are also exhibited, such as Chinese-style clothing.

They also wear traditional Gayo clothing. A child is riding a horse accompanied by a trained jockey. This child uses a gayo tribe-style filigree cloth, a cloth that is knitted and embroidered by hand.

This cloth has a distinctive pattern with the basic color of the cloth being black. A number of carvings and shapes in red, white, yellow and green give a quite deep meaning and form a local wisdom. This cloth is often used in traditional events by them.

I am happy to be able to share this post with you. Hope you enjoy it.

Regard,

@ponpase
