🙏🏼Kawad Yatra and Shrawan Mass🙏🏼

Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing great with your beloved ones. So yesterday was the last Monday of Shravan mass, As per the Hindu calendar this the fifth month, in which we pray 🙏🏼 for Lord Shiva. This month start with the full moon and end on the next full moon, this year it is going to end on 11th of August. Many people will be on fasting on the every Monday of sravana month. People visit temple every Monday and they do a lot of puja during this month at home and temples like Rudra Abhishek Shiv Chalisa and Akhand path of lord Shiva. They basically celebrate this month as a festival.

You can also see another interesting thing on the roads of India during this month is a bunch of kawadiya's (devotees of lord Shiva who participate in this yatra) we call it kawad yatra.

In the late Hindu Purana it is mentioned that when poison came out before Amrit, and the whole world started buring because of that poison, Lord Shiva saved the world by inhaling the poison and during that period Ravan was the first one to start the kawad yatra, he brought the holy water of Ganga in pots or kanwar

We have also done a Rudra Abhishek in May, and I do completely believe in GOD, do you guys also have faith in God? But I am against few things like one should have believe in god but not blindly. They should give milk to poor's instead of pouring that into Shiva Linga, they can pour a spoon of milk on Shiva and the remaining they can give to poor people. Because God is inside every living thing.
