La Magia del Nacimiento/ The magic of childbirth

En este diciembre me tardé un poco en decorar mi casa con el ambiente navideño, de hecho, no lo hice como en años anteriores, quizás tenga un poco de apatía porque tres de mis hijos no están en el país y viajaremos a pasar las Navidades en otra ciudad, con mi madre y mis hermanas.

Sin embargo, escuchando a una querida amiga de hive, @tarot911, decir que al hacer el nacimiento, se pueden sentir buenas energías en el hogar, y yo estoy muy de acuerdo con ella, porque el nacimiento tiene magia, entonces me decidí a hacerlo.

Así que hace unos días comencé a sacar todas las cosas que tengo guardadas y me dispuse con mi hija más pequeña a elaborar nuestro nacimiento. Compré papel ya preparado para construir el ambiente... que uno supone es similar al lugar donde nació Jesús, lo pintamos con colores ocres, porque naturalmente no puede ser completamente verde.

Pintamos unas montañas marrones e hice una estrella amarilla en el cielo, la estrella de Belén. Hay mucho de la inocencia del niño que llevamos siempre con nosotros, en la elaboración del nacimiento y es muy divertido hacerlo.

Colocar las piezas, armar el pesebre, hacer un río en algún lugar de ese espacio, poner las casitas de diferentes tamaños, pastores, ovejas, vacas, caballos y hasta lobos completan el nacimiento. Ah… y por allá un poco alejados porque vienen en camino, están los tres reyes magos. La costumbre es irlos acercando a medida que va pasando el tiempo, hasta llegar al día 6 de Enero, que es cuando se celebra es día de los Reyes Magos.

Y lo más importante y que por supuesto no puede faltar, la familia del niño Jesús, que aún no ha nacido. María y José, acompañados de la Mula y el Buey, que, según dice la tradición, estuvieron presentes en ese día tan especial.

Y por último las lucecitas para darle brillo

Y allí está el Nacimiento, iluminando el hogar con su significado espiritual, un sitio que no importa donde esté físicamente, es un lugar que está en los corazones de las personas que estamos unidas por el amor. Me gusta verlo, sobre todo en las noches cuando se ilumina en la oscuridad y me trae muy buenos recuerdos de épocas pasadas donde junto con mis hijos, armábamos el nacimiento.

De las tradiciones navideñas, el nacimiento es quizás el que está más cercano al espíritu de esta festividad, el de la unión de todos los seres humanos, el del bien y la alegría de compartir esta vida.

This December I took a little while to decorate my house with the Christmas atmosphere, in fact, I did not do it as in previous years, perhaps I have a little apathy because three of my children are not in the country and we will travel to spend Christmas in another city, with my mother and my sisters.

However, listening to a dear hive friend, @tarot911, saying that by doing the nativity, you can feel good energies in the home, and I very much agree with her, because the nativity has magic, then I decided to do it.

So a few days ago I started to take out all the things I have stored and I set out with my youngest daughter to make our nativity. I bought ready-made paper to build the environment... which one assumes is similar to the place where Jesus was born, we painted it with ochre colors, because naturally it can't be completely green.

We painted some brown mountains and I made a yellow star in the sky, the star of Bethlehem. There is a lot of the innocence of the child we carry with us always, in the making of the nativity and it's a lot of fun to do.

Place the pieces, assemble the manger, make a river somewhere in that space, put the little houses of different sizes, shepherds, sheep, cows, horses and even wolves complete the nativity. Ah... and over there, a little far away because they are on their way, are the three kings. The custom is to bring them closer as time goes by, until January 6th, which is when the Three Kings Day is celebrated.

And the most important thing and that of course can not miss, the family of the child Jesús, who has not yet been born. Mary and Joseph, accompanied by the Mule and the Ox, who, according to tradition, were present on that special day.

And finally the little lights to brighten it.

And there is the Nativity Scene, illuminating the home with its spiritual meaning, a place that no matter where it is physically, it is a place that is in the hearts of people who are united by love. I like to see it, especially at night when it is illuminated in the dark and it brings back fond memories of times past where together with my children, we would put together the nativity scene.

Of all the Christmas traditions, the nativity is perhaps the one that is closest to the spirit of this holiday, that of the union of all human beings, of the good and the joy of sharing this life.
