That's what I asked to this cute flying fox hanging out there.

• -Hey cuteness! wanna be my pet?

• -Erm... excuse me? what's that you've just said?

• -You heard me!

• -Uhm, are you sure you won't blame me later as the responsible of some shitstorm pandemics or something?

• -Well, I can try!

• -Yeah right! You are the most untruthful animal in the entire universe. How can I be sure of what you're saying?

• -Well, we've been lying & cheating many times before, but no pet so far seems to have noticed.

• -Ugh, yeah, perhaps they couldn't talk like me to tell anybody else nor had wings to fly away from your nefarious liar claws as quickly as myself.

• -Hey! wait, where you go? Then... don't you wanna be my pet?
  

  

Alright, this is a post created specifically to participate in the The DBuzz Zap Fiction Short Story Weekly Challenge: Week 7. But after several attempts, there was no way the Dbuzz UI would load the main picture which inspire and gives sense to this short fiction story. Might be due my lousy and sluggish internet connection, I dunno. But in any case, I also realized that the text of my story was already going beyond the 280 characters limit.

So I told to myself...

Well, what the heck! Since I'm not a chap who likes to follow contest rules to the letter too much. Neither I am one looking to win contests, awards, first places nor anything of that intranscendent and nonessential stuff. I believe I always will be way more happy and satisfied by just delivering a clearer message which actually make you think truly.

And that's why I opted to write and publish this post in Hive.blog instead.

Thanks DBuzz anyway for your great inspiration. It has been a long while since I had written a short fiction story in the blockchain. But as the saying goes: "You Can't Always Get What You Want"
