I am sure this type of work will make Leofinance a place for many to come and get great resources for their posts. Actually I was researching about the difference between commodity and security. Now the cool part of this glossary it can be updated quite often giving a vivid explanation of what you are looking for.

I think this is a link anyone can share. This is a formidable use case of how important everyone will find Leofinance. I wonder if this glossary will ever complete knowing the amount of work needed to complete. The reason I am saying that there are so much affiliation with finance in this world.

Earlier I was looking for commodity and security in accordance with crypto. It got me further to the rabbit hole about SEC and CFTC. As a matter of fact Leo and Hive are commodities. There was a case in 1946 in front of the Supreme Court. It was SEC vs W.J. Howey Co. Three questions were asked to determine where to put a financial product.
The first one goes as is there an investment of money with the expectation of future profits?
The second one proceeds is there investment of money in a common enterprise?
The last one goes as Do any profits come from the efforts of a promoter of third party?

Take your time and analyze these questions to see where most cryptos fall. This is important for decentralization to go forward and give crypto its clear path going forward. The debate will take a while for crypto. Crypto as a commodity will promote free business where regulation is less stringently.
