ANOTHER CURRENCY FOR LATIN AMERICA

This is a subjective approach to understand the rapport a currency has for a block of country with another. Some currencies have boundaries like the Euro and the US dollar. Yuan or peso all those currencies serve a limited purpose. Even the US dollar that is widespread can only be used in another country for a sole purpose. The richer the country is, you will see its currency has ramification everywhere.

Exchange and control transactions could be the basis for a new currency. While #Hive and HBD serve a clear purpose for the blockchain, it is the currency utilized by all holders. Even in second layer you can see a way for Hive and HBD to be part of the equation. It is not new to see nations adopting new currency. Another way to see the rapport of a currency with another is clear through #Upbit with Hive. The pair Hive/KRW is doing us a service and it is helping Hive to stay into the limelight.

Most of the time there is a cry for a new currency it has something to do with the US dollar reliance. You heard it before from other nations trying to control their currency. When you hear the sale of oil, it is mostly done with US dollar. Even in crypto we denominate the value in US dollar. It brings more value to the trade we involve in. Lately fiat currency fails to help the people. It doesn't matter how it proceed, the same error from central bank will follow through and you will see the trace of debt, inequality, issue with supply and demand, liquidity will always be around to doom that currency.

As I am saying there is no clear cut with any currency or even cryptocurrency. As long decentralization is not part of the process for the long haul, you can be sure many will make it, but at the end it will be chaos or extinction of that currency.
I have to say I salute the goal for Brazil and Argentina as the two big powers in South America to think this way. It will help to start a conversation to a point.
Not sure where the goal is apart from having a controlling part of what happen down there.

As you know cryptocurrency should be part of the conversation. This year even though it will be boring, I expect to see a ground breaking phase for crypto for the years to come. As long you have patience you will get your fair share.
It is good to see how willingly these talks will be.

Interestingly, it looks like there may be a new currency in South America. Brazilian and Argentinian finance ministers are reported to be meeting in Buenos Aires next week to map out the creation of a new common currency, provisionally named the "sur".

I suspect it's part of a desire to de-dollarise their economies, particularly with Brazil being in BRICS and both of them seeing how frequently the United States has been using sanctions on anyone they don't like.

But I'm pleased to see that South America (and particularly Venezuela) seem to be leading the way in the adoption of HBD as a peer-to-peer and customer to small business payment network. It's small steps and a very long way to go, but I see it as a really positive thing.

As we know Hive or HBD are currencies with no state agenda. It is for anyone in need of a currency that can fulfill a need.
Liquidity is another one.
Glad you are making it happen.

Indeed, the currencies that can be used worldwide for various purposes are the ones that are most likely to grow. However, what happens when, over time, we have a bunch of such currencies which are easy to use? Some of the earliest adopted ones might win in such a case, Bitcoin already has that honor in quite a few places, and continues its predominance. It's interesting to see what will happen, however. We're living through the beginning of what may be a financial revolution! Very interesting to see it all unfold. 😊

It's good to see Hive still getting some traction. I don't use Upbit, but I think I will get an account just because of this collaboration.

This year even though it will be boring, I expect to see a ground breaking phase for crypto for the years to come. As long you have patience, you will get your fair share.

For me the keyword here is patience, and if I were to add something, I would say, "Patiently accumulate what you can and you will definitely get a share."

Very thankful for hive as it gives us a chance to keep earning and stacking...

Happy new year

I've been reading that Hive and HBD have been doing some really awesome things down in Central America. More and more people using it to have some stable form of currency. It's exciting stuff!
