ARE YOU ON THE MARKET FOR A NEW RIDE?

I went to the Kia dealer the other day for a recall and regular service. At the end it was not too bad since it is just an update of the computer and tire rotation, oil change. I am asking myself why the car company does not follow #Tesla for OTA update instead of wasting time at the dealership. While I was waiting I checked the showroom to check the new ride. I see the price shock. There was adjustment adding to the sticker price.

Some even go as far as $19k for an electric car that was priced at $49k. You can see where it is going. Luckily I did make a purchase quite a few years a go and I think I can wait for another couple years I hope. For my line of work I see a truck in my sight even though I never had one before. I drove SUV and cars. I do have a penchant for VW.

If you are keen of the news this week, automobile took the top from California. By 2035 the state will not allow sales of gas engine, only electric cars. I feel like by 2030, electric cars, truck should be a lot affordable in term of getting one, even second hand. Before you could worry about ranges, this is almost easy fix with station everywhere. Many gas station are incorporated with EV chargers. Even #wally World has some charger to incite the owners to come over.

The models of EV are getting exponentially available at all corners. So this is one thing you can be sure the future will have a lot from. I do not think gas engine will disappear. It could be a way to see who embrace the new technology compare to folks willing to pay high price for gas.
While the momentum is shifting toward EV, #tesla tends to benefit greatly from this evolution.
I even grabbed some shares today. The price is still high but the growth signaled $390/share by the end of the year. Hopefully I wish for my patience to fit my need.

The new bill to help purchasing an EV could result in more buying power. $7.5k could go a long way. I think inflation will eat that before tax. Any help is a good help.
Buying automobile these days mean business. Be ready to pay $5k more depending what you are on the market for. Many have little choice to go second hand. As long your purchase has meaning for you, prices are the least for you to worry about. In Florida it depends where you live, you need your ride otherwise taking the bus will drain your time.
After all everything is changing, adaptation is the key.

I don't think oil and tires can be changed over the internet :) also even in electric cars there are air filters for the AC for example that need to be changed

I have seen an electric car before and I don’t know how much it would cost here Africa but buying new car here is always very expensive and there is always extra payment added to it.
