THREE DAYS TILL DECEMBER

When you do not know what you have, go elsewhere and do some research around. You will come back running. #Hive is for #Hivers. From time to time I glimpsed around #coingecko to peek at other tokens just to see how they are doing. If you follow the marketcap, there are a lot of them out there with one goal, beat #BTC. I guess this battle has long come and gone. It is hard to beat the one token with no apparent a centralized eye.

I used to follow dash for a while trying to see if it makes sense for me. I like the idea of #LTC. Being lighter than BTC and more availability in tokens. #EOS was another one I think I could go with. From the beginning it was not available to the US. Personally I tried to see why all tokens co-exist. You know they have one thing in common: blockchain. Other than that they are different. If you are new you wonder why hold this one or that one?

It is hard to find a proper answer. I could ask you the same question why hold HIVE? Apart from all tokens that can gain value, Hive separates itself from the masses. From the start it is a delegated proof of stake. You can hold it on your phone. Virtually you can mine/stake Hive anywhere. The only aspect of Hive I admire is the learning curve. It looks simple at the beginning but the learning is immense.

Few folks talk about the four different keys to access your account. Security is key in Hive. While you can use a key to post in Hive or Leofinance. You need another key/ authority to withdraw funds. Thanks to Hive keychain it looks seamless, before keychain it was something. Like I said the learning part is a giving in order to advance with Hive. After 6 years of learning, many see the value the community adds to the blockchain. Many have left, many have come aboard, giving #Hive the upper hand.

I was reading about #securities based-lending. The approach resembles to the Hive bond, I read a couple of months ago. You cannot believe what we can plug into Hive ecosystem. I would love to see a service where you can put your Hive into an escrow and you can borrow from it. While your hive power in earning 2.99% APR, you are moving funds around. I know a quota will go a long way for this.
Another aspect of Hive that touches me a little, the cap. We only have less than 400 million tokens. It is not even enough for everyone if use case/value come full circle with HIVE.

I know this year has made us a favor with price, it may not be the same for 2023. I feel like something is holding Hive and soon when it sets free the price is minute away from the dollar mark.
Hive power is the membrane of the blockchain. Whoever presides with patience, does understand what will come later. Hive doesn't need to be top 100 to deliver. Hive needs to pursue the goal of WEB 3.0 and the rest is history.

December will be short and concise due to holidays. By January it is another start for the long marathon. I am watching #HBD closely. Can't wait for the next post by @geekgirl showing how patience we are building a stable coin.
Keep vesting in what you believe.

True, about the learning curve! And looking hard to learn more about it!

The more you know about Hive, the more you feel your presence is needed.
It look simple upfront but the deep is rewarding.

True! Been active on Hive (and started on Steem) for quite a while now, but now want to step up my game, and go more technical as well...

Certainly dear @pouchon I am still hopeful that Hive will even be worth twice the dollar, you say by January 2023, I am still hopeful that in December of this year we will have a stronger Hive and with an even more favorable value, than the value of the dollar. Success in your publication. From Venezuela I tell you that I just came from the second day of the #ExpoHiveSucre
celebration in our city of Cumaná.

EOS has been a bit of a let down. Some of the chains that have evolved from it are pretty good though. I guess Hive could really be considered one of the forefathers of EOS if you wanted to really dig into it. I actually just wrote a post today about how I keep overlooking Hive. It's funny how everything you want can sometimes be right in front of your face!
