Hunting isn't just something I do. It's part of Who I am

After long time, spotting the tiny Assassin as hunter. The yellow jumping spider knew the ground he is living in, the preys that visit his ground and his survival techniques. After all these days of reduced number of spiders, he still does what he needs for survival

Hunting is not something he does for fun or fear. It's what he needs most at the moment. The idea of survival has made the hunting a part of his life.

The photographs were captured with my smartphone samsung galaxy S9 with prosumer macro lens on my terrace.

I should say he is the best hunter, because of the prey he had caught. The insect simulating mosquito is very impatient and does not sit on any leaf for more than a second. The insect is as same size as the spider. To plan and execute, he would have failed multiple times and those are definitely the learning experiences which he has put in this time.

Any other time when I approach closer to click the spider photographs, they would run away. But when they have the prey in mouth, they stay and watch.
