Crispy snack murukku made with string hopper flour.
Have a great day, my dear friends. I hope you are all happy and well. These days, the environment has been heavily polluted with excessive dust and pollution, leaving us feeling tired when in the city. Fortunately, the trees near our house are full of foliage, providing a cool and refreshing environment. It's a reminder of the importance of protecting our environment for our well-being.
Murukku is a favorite snack of my son. It's crispy and loved by everyone, young and old alike. The best part is, it can be easily prepared at home using ingredients readily available in our kitchen, without any harmful additives. Its crunchiness adds to its deliciousness. For an extra flavor, I added some spices. Let's find out what ingredients are needed to prepare this delightful snack.
Materials Used.
Hopper flour 250g.
3 teaspoons of garlic juice.
1 Cup of water.
Coconut oil for frying.
1/2 teaspoon of salt powder.
1/2 teaspoon of cumin seed.
1 tablespoon of White Sesame Seeds.
1 teaspoon of chili powder.
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Method of making.
Now let's find out how to set this up first. Take a bowl and add hopper flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic juice, white sesame seeds, cumin seed to it. Mix it well
Next we add water little by little to the mixture and make a thick dough ball.
Next we take a string hopper maker tool and use a blade with the desired shape. After that, take some of the dough and put it in the hopper maker.
Now we squeeze the murukku mixture on the string hopper pots in a circular manner and finally hold it with the finger and seal it. You can see in the following images.
Next, take a bowl, add coconut oil to it and keep it on the stove. After the oil is hot, carefully add the prepared murukku rounds to the oil pan and fry until golden brown.
You can easily prepare this delicious crispy murukku. It's perfect for enjoying with guests during leisure time or taking along on trips. Additionally, you can consider preparing and selling it in the market as an additional source of income. I bid you farewell for today and look forward to sharing another meal with you soon.
Thank you.
