In my last episode, I shared how all my movement abilities helped me unlock new paths in the Greenpath area and along this journey, I was attacked by a Massive Moss Charger which I defeated quickly. Here is a short clip.

I was in the uncharted territory of Greenpath. So, it was all new for me. There were new paths that were yet to be explored.

I found a trapped Grub and released it. These grubs are spread throughout the kingdom of Hallownest...not sure who has them trapped and why.

A dark cave leads me to a soul vessel fragment. I collected it quickly, they seem to be very rare and now I need one more fragment to complete this vessel which is going to help me store more soul.

I kept going to the east of the map but was eventually stopped by a blocked path. I didn't find any other alternative paths so had to come back. I was happy to get a soul fragment.

I went south of the Greenpath into the "Fog Canyon". Most of this section of Hallownest is still a mystery to me. Part of the problem is not having a map for this section. The cartographer is behind a black barrier which I can't pass through and it looks like most of the Fog Canyon is still locked.

There is an interesting NPC found in Fog Canyon, her name is MilliBelle, the Banker. She offers Banking services for depositing and withdrawing your Geos. I was sceptical at first so I tested it with just 100 Geos and saw if I could withdraw them without any fees.

It worked so I deposited around 2000 Geo in the wallet. Well, storing them just in case you get killed and lose those Geo is better. I stored them as emergency funds. I haven't faced a shortage of coins in the game till now, maybe in the early days but now there are enough Geo and I rarely ran out of them.

I reached Queen's Station and saw a mask shard behind a closed door. There was a challenging platforming section to get to and I completed it after like 10 tries xD

Getting a new mask shard is always a good feeling, I am close to increasing my maximum health which helps immensely in boss fights.

There is an interesting bug in this part of the Hallownest called Willow. It has a long neck and munching on the tall grassy patch. Sadly, I couldn't reach there, it looked like a secret path and I tried to get there but my jump was not high enough. Maybe I will get a higher jump as an ability or a second jump which will make me reach there or I am just overthinking and there is nothing there...lol

The deadly "Fungal Wastes" filled with dangerous shrooms and bugs are just next to the Queen's Station.

I climbed a challenging section where some plants shoot a projectile that blasts on contact or after some time and they deal double damage.

After climbing that section safely, I found a Hallownest Seal, which is a valuable artefact and I grabbed it quickly and went out from that place.

There were still many artefacts spread in this region, one such item was a Wanderer's Journal and I could reach there because I had the super dash movement ability now. More and more paths get unlocked as you gain more movement abilities so going back to already explored places after gaining a new ability is always worth the trip.

I fought with a big mushroom thingy who was mad and used its head as a hammer lol. It was easier to kill, I think I have killed two of such guys on my earlier visit here. But why does this guy think he can take me down alone??

More paths are still unreachable to me. One such place is filled with a pool of acid and to cross it, either I have to swim in it which seems impossible or I have to drain this liquid. Not sure if I can do any of these things shortly. I wonder what I will find on the other side of that room.

I went to visit my friend, the Leg Eater. He sells some charms which break if you die while they are equipped. I bought just one charm earlier from him, the 'Fragile Greed' which gives more Geo when equipped. I didn't have enough Geo to buy the other two charms and my fragile greed was broken too. Had I not stored my Geo in the bank, I would have had enough to buy them. Right when you think you don't need money anymore something like this comes up...lol

If you look at the map carefully, you will see some paths that are still unexplored and one such was at the middle of the map. I went there only to see the jump was too high and I couldn't make it.

Now I am more confident that a skill/spell is missing which will allow me to reach all these high places. Hopefully, I can get them quickly.

I came down to the Mantis Village and then took right to get to the 'Royal Waterways'. Here I crossed a big pool of water, this was not an acid pool and I could swim in here without taking damage.

On the right edge of the pool, there were some cracks in the wall indicating it could be broken so I struck it with my nail and the wall opened up. There was a trapped Grub so I released it.

The Royal Waterways connects to the 'City of Tears' so I made my way to the City and saw the famous statue of the Hollow Knight.

It always rains in the 'City of Tears'. There is a collector here where I can sell my items and get some Geos. I sold all of my Wanderor's Journal, one Hallownest Seal and the most valuable of them all, a King's Idol.

I was back to over 3K Geos after selling all those artefacts. I used my super dash ability after climbing vertical walls to see if any hidden paths could be accessed but I found none.

I found with some giant warriors to get to the King's Station and rested on the bench there. There was a stag station as well. I was looking for all the hidden paths and just on the top of the stag station, there seemed to be a way that could be crossed by using my nail and pogoing to the other side.

I didn't think I would find anything there but I found a Hallownest seal there, now I wonder how many stag stations I missed. I had to go back to all the stag stations and see if there were some hidden artefacts around there.

We started from Greenpath after defeating the Massive Moss charger, collected a Vessel Fragment and went into the Fog Canyon where we were stopped by a barrier so we got down and found a banker where we deposited more than 2K Geo as an emergency fund then we went into Queen's Garden and collected a Mask Shard. From there we got into the deadly Fog Canyon and collected some artefacts then into the Royal Waterways and finally into the 'City of Tears'. It was a long journey but we found some nice artefacts and items which are going to help in our quests.

There are still a lot of places to explore in this vast kingdom of Hallownest.
