Rocket League Gameplay with Commentary: Road to Champion

Hello, gamers. I hope you are doing well.

I played rocket league after a long time, not too long but still atleast after a week and it feels so long. I was playing it almost daily with some friends but they got busy and I got busy so we didn't play much but I booted up Rocket League and started playing. This time I was recording with my mic too. (The sound quality is bad but I am still learning)

I started at Dimaond II Div II and set a goal of improving two divisions which is quite challenging sometimes. You can even lose the divisions if you play bad so that was a tough ask.

But the games were not too hard and even though I was carried in the first couple of matches I was playing good enough for my rank. It could have been way better.

It was an interesting session, I never play 1v1 but the last guy who I played with got so pissed at me when I missed a couple of shots and challenged me to a duel. How could I have said no? Running away from a 1v1 challenge is a Sin so I accepted the challenge.

You can see what happend during those final moments. It sure is very interesting. I will not give you any spoiler, you should see the video, especially the last game and you will get it.

The start of the session was so good, I was winning all the matches and not doing that bad myself too, excluding the first couple of games. After a long time I felt like Dimaond II is not as challenging as it used to be, especially during the start of the season it is quite difficult. You will see a lot of smurfs in your matches scoring crazy 'ceiling flip reset goals'.

Commenting while playing a fast paced game like Rocket League is quite tough. It is really the game where you need to make quick decisions all the time, take boost or no, defend or charge, take a 50/50 or go back, challenge or let them come. And all the controls, especially the aerial ones are still tough for me after thousands of game...lol. And talking in a foreign language trying to live translate everything in your head takes a lot of processing power...lol

Okay, enough with the excuses. I was playing bad in the last ranked match and my teammate was so pissed he challenged me to 1v1 and it was very close game but I lost. This loss is going to haunt me for some time...lol

The road to Champion is still very far away, first I have to cross the Diamond II challenge and then Diamond III to reach my goal for this season. But still, there is plenty of time left and if I play sensibly and more acitvely in the rest of the seaon I can still make it into the champion league.

Rocket Pass Updates!

I was quite excite for this season back at the start but all the excitement is over now. I don't see enough good rewards, especially goal explosions. I love those animated cool looking goal explosions which changes the entire field when you score goal but I still see no such thing from this season.

Well, there are two new cars "Admiral and "Mako" but I would never switch my cars. I love to play with the Fennec which I used throughtout this sesison as well. Sometimes, I switch back to the classic Octane. Which feels much faster becasue it has small body and it somehow plays with your mind and gives you illusion that the car is moving fast even though all the cars have same speed.

Like every season I bough the Rocket Pass in this season two. It gives all the premium rewards and you can earn back the spent credits as rewards. So, if you play enough during the season you will earn back 1000 credits which you spent buying the Pass.

I have reached rocket pass tier 67 now. The first goal is to reach level 100 and then see what else I can do from there.

The last season helped me collect a lot of random drop boxes too and I keep opening a few after the end of the session. I had a couple of Golden cup too.

The Golden cup's reward was so bad. They got me bad tyres.

They look so horrible to me, I hate them! Never going to use that Lime colored boy so this was just a big waste of excitement...lol

Okay time to show my overall stats, I was so close to the 8k mark last time and look! I have crossed it. Played a total of 8027 career games! I got a healthy win percentage, almost 53% and over 14.1K career goals (Yeah, I have wasted my life on this game...lol), averaging 1.8 goals per game is not bad at all, considering I don't play duels (1v1) where you score much more goals per game easily.

• You played well, but your teammate sucks!
• You didn't lose, the server was laggy!
• Only if you had a better monitor and graphics card!
• Your little brother was playing the match!
• They were Smurfing!
• You didn't sleep for two days straight!
• And the most important one: They were Hacking!
• Your mom called you in the middle of the game!
• Your girlfriend was texting you during the game!
• You were getting death threats from your lender!
• Gaming Gods were angry at you!
