Rocket League Season 14 is here! My gameplay + Rocket Pass News and Updates!

Hello, gamers. I hope you are doing well.

I am back with another Rocket League Gameplay video!

I have been quiet about my Rocket League progress. Weirdly I play this game a lot and share it very few times. But today I have big news, the new Rocket League Season is live!

Season 14 just started a few days ago and it is always exciting to play in the new seasons, look at all the new and exciting rewards, open some crates and try to push your rank in the competition.

I play a quick session which I record and upload to my YouTube.

It was quite a successful session of 2v2 where I won all the games after losing a tight game one at the start. I had an extended session of free play training at the start because the matchmaking was taking a lot of time as it was quite late in the night. Those matches were quite competitive as I was playing in Diamond III and pushing hard to get to Champ this season.

As I mentioned above, it took some minutes to find the first match but that helped me warm up nicely and I didn't make as many mistakes as I usually do in the first game. I was using the Fennec which gives me more control when I have to challenge the ball and have more control on its direction after having a 50-50 challenge.

After losing the first game by just one goal margin in the last 15-20 seconds, I was more focused on the second one and I got a good teammate too, so we just destroyed it in the second game.

I switched to the Octane body after that, I usually keep switching between Octane and Fennec as I love both of these cars. I have thousands of goals with each of them equipped. I never used any other car, maybe Dominous for some time but not much.

In the last two games, I found a nice teammate and we had this awesome synergy, passing the ball nicely between us and the rotations were smooth. I would have played more but playing with 150+ ping in Rocket League is a bit of a challenge and I bailed out...lol

If I can have a few more sessions like this, I can reach that Champ I easily. It is just the start of the fresh season and I ended the last in Diamond III too. Let's see how hard I can push in this one!

Look at this goal, I challenged early in the corner and failed to get a touch on the ball but recovered well and saw an opportunity to bump the blue car who would have saved that shot otherwise. This was such a perfectly timed bump and I bet he didn't see that coming. It was a good shot on goal by my teammate so he should get more credit for this goal.

Rocket Pass Updates!

Two brand new cars have come in this season: Admiral and Mako. I don't usually change the car which I play with, but I will test these two later.

I had 1100 Credits so I bought the Rocket Pass as soon as I could which cost 1000 Credits. It is worth it if you play the game as much as I do and want to collect all the premium rewards you get in the season. You will get those credits back as a reward if you reach the 100th tier or so in the season. I usually reach 200 as I play this game a lot so, it was a no-brainer for me to purchase the Rocket Pass again. Look! I am already at tier 15!

This season's theme is sea and underwater exploration. And we are getting a new arena and lots of customisable items as rewards based on that theme. I don't usually focus too much on this part of the game but for some, it is quite a bit part of the experience of Rocket League.

The last season helped me collect a lot of random drop boxes.

I opened some of them and found some cool items. Weirdly I got a "Pink" Road Hog, look at this beast of a car, giving it in pink should be a criminal offense...lol

Like always, I will end the post by showing you my career record for Rocket League, I have played 7288 career games! I got a healthy win percentage, 53% and over 13900 career goals (Yeah, I have wasted my life on this game...lol), averaging 1.8 goals per game is not bad at all, considering I don't play duels (1v1) where you score much more goals per game easily.
