This is my entry to the "Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge!". If you want to participate, click here. You can participate even if you don't have the theme card.
I will share my battle here, which I uploaded to 3speak.
Tell us about your lineup. Explain why you put each card in that position and why they are a good fit with the GIANT ROC.
This is my lineup for the battle
Position | Summoner/Monsters | Abilities |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Tarsa | +1 Melee, +1 Health |
Position 1 | Living Lava | Shield |
Position 2 | Giant Roc | Flying, Reach |
Position 3 | Serpentine Spy | Opportunity |
Position 4 | Ant Miners | Scavenger |
Position 5 | Tenyii Striker | Sneak |
Position 6 | Scavo Firebolt | No Ability |
This was a high mana cost battle, having 30 mana to use, which was more than enough for me to use my favorite cards.
I have used Tarsa as my summoner as she grants +1 melee and +1 health to my monsters.
I used Living Lava as my tank, as it works great for that and also has a +3 melee attack on his own. I used Giant Roc on the second position as it has 'reach' ability which it can use from the second position as well. Giant Roc's flying ability makes it easier to miss too. In the next position, I used Serpentine Spy which is one of my favorite cards in the fire set, as he has the opportunity ability and he is quick too.
I used Ant Miners on the next position, that is pos 4, Ant Miners with the Scavenger Ability makes this card OP and is very helpful in high mana cost battles. I used Tenyii Striker for his sneak and high damage per hit. It's an interesting card for me.
The last card I used in the lineup was Scavo Firebolt, this is the only card with a ranged attack on my lineup and it fits perfectly to my need during the battle.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy worked nicely. I would maybe try to use a different card at the last position if the mana cost is less or maybe won't use it altogether
Do you like the GIANT ROC? Why or why not?
Yes, I like this card very much, from the start of my journey, I used to play with Giant Roc to utilize its reach and flying abilities. This card is so helpful in high mana battles, not so much in low mana battles. Only if this would have been a neutral deck card, then it would be amazing.
