Often times I've engaged in conversations with my friends on what kind of job is better, having a freelance job or having a job where you have to be present everyday at the office from 9 to 5. Of course we always come to the conclusion that a freelance job is better and here's our reason.

Working as a freelancer gives you the opportunity to be able to work on multiple projects at the same time which automatically equals to multiple source of income unlike a regular day to day job where you get paid by just one source. A freelancer's monthly earning can't be speculated until its the end of the month because even they themselves have no idea of how much they will be earning that month and this is due to the fact that they could be working on different clients at the same time, depending on what they do.

Another advantage of being a freelancers is that you get to be in charge of your time and this is because you get to dictate when you're free for work and when you're not. I have a friend who does product designing as a freelancer. The moment it starts to get close to his birthday, he stops working and travels out of the country to go give himself a birthday treat, this is something someone who has a regular day to day job can't do unless their boss gives them the permission to do so.

So yeah, I'd rather become a freelancer than full time employment but then again, being a freelancer has its disadvantages and the most important one to me is lack of jobs. What happens to you when you find yourself in a situation where you have no client in a long time, how do you survive?

This is something someone with a full time employment won't have to go through because they're assured that at the end of the month, they will be getting paid. But if you happen to be a freelancer who gets loads of clients every time, then you will be living the life.

even we as freelancers can get money in the middle of the month without having to wait for the payday date to come, and vice versa, as permanent workers also get their own benefits, each has its good side.😊

Freelancing and having a regular jib really have advantages and disadvantages. When choosing one, make sure to be ready when consequences comes. But when you ask me, I do love freelancing too.
