Surprise Surprise

Hannah has always known right from the onset that her father inlaw has never liked her, right from the first day Michael introduced her to him, the old man seemed to not be impressed. Luckily for her, Michael wasn't one to be easily persuaded, he had gone ahead with the marriage though Hannah knew his dad was against it.

Michael's mom on the other hand was an absolutely sweetheart. The woman always made sure to scope Hannah away anytime she noticed her husband was about to throw about his tantrum. But Hannah was determined to make the old man like her so she did all she knew she could do to get on his good grace all to no avail.

And few months later when Hannah gave birth to a baby girl, it totally felt like the man doubled his troubles. Michael's dad was one of those men who always believes that a male child is the most important child and though he loved his grand-daughter, the old man felt something wasn't right.

Ever from his grand father, their first child has always been a male child, so why was Michael's different unless...

It was the holidays and Michael decided it was time for their three year old daughter to spend some time with her grand parents, his wife was pregnant and would be due for delivery soon so he needed to focus all of his attention on her. Grand dad and Grand mom had been excited about it but what nobody knew was that Grand dad had other plans.

He waited for about three days for his wife to leave the house before carrying out his plan. Michael's dad had taken his grand-daughter to the hospital for DNA test. It took a while but when the results finally came out, the man had not been surprised, his grand-daughter wasn't his grand-daughter afterall. He had immediately called his son to come meet him at the hospital, it was as if he was excited about the news.

When Michael arrived and heard all his dad said, he had been furious at first that his dad would do any of this but when he saw the test results, he immediately became mute.

"Let's do the test again, this time with my own blood and not my father's." Michael had said to the doctor.

The doctor had immediately collected his blood sample and rerun the test.

"She's your daughter." The doctor said to Michael, handing the test results to him.

"What? How is that possible?" Michael's dad asked.

"She's his daughter but he's not your son, you both don't share the same DNA" the doctor dropped a bombshell.
