The Three Musketeers

Growing up, I used to moved around the street with two of my friends. We were kinda like the three musketeers. We all went to different schools but whenever we were home, we were always seen together and we enjoyed playing together.

We were friends for years and even though we all came from different backgrounds, our friendship just kept on growing and growing strong. Yes there were moments where we fought and didn't speak to each other for days, even weeks, but we always found a way to come back together and hang out.

Unfortunately life happened and I was the first person to break away from the friend group. My dad decided it was time we moved, so we did just that, we moved to a completely different area that was miles ago. And even though I visited every once in a while, we couldn't hang out like we used to.

And then one day I went to go visit them only to hear that another of our friend had traveled to the village. Unfortunately not all of us had great responsible father's and one of my friends dad was an alcoholic and also a smoker who didn't have a stable job. His wife was literally the one stopping the family from starving and tearing apart but then one of her daughters got pregnant and it just felt like the whole thing was too much, so they relocated to the village.

When I heard the news, I got really sad because I knew that the possibility of seeing my friend ever again was next to none, but I had been lucky to get his sister's number from his elder brother who didn't travel to the village with them because he had a job he was doing over here. I think I tried the number but it never went through so I stopped calling.

By this time the friend group was as good as gone but I still visited my remaining friend from time to time, even though it wasn't that constant. But everything finally came to an end when the whole yahoo yahoo (Internet fraud) wave started and it seemed like every young kid out there was a fraudster.

Unfortunately, my remaining friend wasn't strong enough to resist the temptation of being a fraudster and I kinda do not blame him completely because with both of his best friends gone, he had to be close with guys he normally wouldn't hang out with if we were there, and those friends ended up introducing him to the other side of life he probably wouldn't had been introduced to if he still was with us.

So my friend got into fraud and I just stopped visiting because my dad will always say that if you're not interested in what they're selling, do not stand there and give them the opportunity to convince you to buy it, always walk away and that was what I did, I walked away.

Life will always happen where we get separated from each other and the possibility of seeing each other again would be slim until there was no way to see again. I felt for your first whose dad was an alcoholic and the one who ended up being influenced.

I guess that's why they say twenty friends cannot play for twenty years, lol.

Life happens you all can't be friends forever even though some try to keep the connection going.

I feel for your friend that went back to the village because life in the will different from the one he has lived in the city.

And the other guy that went to join the internet fraudster I pity his life because that won't last long

Yeah that's is it because we all can't have it all as a friend but if we keep praying for them wherever they are that is more than seeing them
