Trouble Trouble

Staying in a school environment in a country like mine meant that you would occasionally be disturbed by one thing, cultism.

My friends and I were discussing about how staying at home was the best way to avoid getting into trouble and though I agree with them, I had a story to tell that would make them see that you could get into trouble even if you decided to stay indoors for a whole year.

Some time last year, I was staying with my brother at that time. It was still early in the morning, sometime around 7am when this two hefty guys came into my hostel and asked us to come out of our rooms. It was an hostel outside the school and it was also during the school holidays so they were only few students around.

The two hefty men who claimed to be cultists had said that someone had called out their names and hid himself. They said that something like that was dangerous for them and they needed to know who that was in other to make sure that it wasn't someone from a different cult who was trying to harm them.

No one agreed to be the one who called out their names and they decided they were going to seize all of our phones until they found out who it was. We all thought it was a joke until they started calling all of their friends and before we knew who was going on, our hostel was filled with cultists.

We knew if we didn't come to an agreement the whole thing would result into something much more dangerous and probably bloody so we had opted out to give them money instead. We knew money was the only thing that would resolve the money and we had been right.

My friends were surprised when I told them this story because this was the first time I was mentioning it but I had to let them know that though I believe that staying at home reduces the amount time a person could get into trouble but it doesn't completely stops it.

An interesting story.
One has to be careful when living in school hostel, you don't know who is who.
Also minding the kind of friends you keep.

Cultism is an illness to any society. The story told here is a classic example of that bitter reality.

We get into trouble at any time, anywhere. But Cultism is a bad thing that should be removed from societies.
