Mama always cuddles me to sleep and says it will be okay, it's just the night. There is no ghost or scary demon out there. You will be safe, just close your eyes and in a blink, the morning light will come through. But as soon as she left and my dizzy self woke up in the middle of the night I scream and yell for help.

Hey, how has it been going for you?
Have you trapped any young mind?

Oops! What a question I know you must have trapped a great number of minds, and not just limited to the young but also the old.

How do you feel when they get scared of you? Do you feel the same happiness and pleasure you felt whenever ever you saw frightened me shiver and scream in the terror of you

I never wanted to be fond of you but you still haunt me and grew fond of me each day to make me your amusement center, a piece of a mockery. The more I try to stay away from you is the more you come to me.

I hate you but you loved me because you love only those who are scared of you.

You remembered how you taunt me has a preteen?
After mama's encouraging words I saw you as nothing and what you can do as just my imaginations.

But rising up in the middle of the night I saw you all around to take a pee. I use my dim light to locate the restroom. I was through within some minutes so I lay on my bed to see a peaceful morning light but my rest was got short when I had a scary nightmare. I opened my eyes to see you all around, I put on my dim light but you still eluded my fear.

I had to rise up shivering and locate mama's room to get comfortable and to be saved from your horror.

Remembered the night?
The night you decided to end our ties and friendship?

When I was all alone in this big house. I close my eyes to a beautiful sleep with the dim light from the bulb but you came with your terror giving me a horrible nightmare. I woke up and saw my bulb was off due to power outage

I tried to look for my torch but I couldn't find it. I kept hearing horrible voices in my head. I was frightened to see haunting ghosts, demons, and zombies coming after me.

I walk from my room to the sitting room in the dark but I couldn't locate a light. I kept seeing images all around. I had to run into my room in the dark of you and shut my door.

I grabbed my pillow and say a prayer as I close my eyes. All I wanted was to be clouded in the ocean of sleep.

But your terror didn't let me go no matter how hard I shut my eyes.
Then bravely came on me, I stare at you. Saying "nothing is here, it's all in mind. It's just an imagination" to myself
And that's how today you have become a figure of my imagination in the past

Hello Darkness!, My Old Friend.
Now I can dance in you and sing with the highest pitch of my voice.
I don't need the light to take you out when I sleep. For I now sleep in you with no fear
Any anytime I wake up from a scary nightmare. I stare at you on the face wanting to haunt as you did to me.
