Prepared Diwali snacks-Suhaali(crispy crakers) part 1

Hello hiveans! Hope all are doing good!

The grand Indian Festival Diwali is just around the corner and the preparations and celebrations are in full swing. Everyone is busy in making sweets and snacks, buying clothes and decor things for home. Yes Mee too🤭. My Diwali preparations is also going on. In our home most of the sweets and snacks are made by My Mom and it's all Homemade. I am also helping her, in the making of these good stuff of food. So in today's blog I am going to share a snack called Suwali or Mathri. There are Many more sweets and snacks, which I am going to share slowly. Because as I said earlier it's a Grand Festival Diwali so will be busy...but i will update my blog as I will get some time to write. So, This suwali is made in festive season or in wedding, in every household of Rajasthan. May be out of Rajasthan also it is made in the house by another name. Now a days we can get these snacks throughout the year at shops. Actually this snack is all time favorite snacks. No one can get bored having this again and again. You can have this with Tea/coffee, or you can have it in breakfast also by making papdi chat. And with mango pickle it goes ummmmm delicious. You can keep this suwalis in Stock for 25 days to 30 days in a air tight jar. It will not ruin easily, without freeze you can keep this. Any day any time or any guest are coming to home, we can serve this with some tea/ coffee. And it is home made so guest will like to have this with love and Happiness❤.

So let's start to make Suwali

INGREDIENTS
1.All purpose flour - 1kg
2.wheat flour- 2 cup
3.salt- as pee taste
4.carrom seeds- 1 tbspn
5.nigella seeds- 1 tbspn
6.oil or melted Ghee(butter)- for Moin, 1 cup
7.oil for frying 1 Ltr
8 water - as required.

Here I am making 1 kg flour Suwalis . It will be like 60 to 70 pieces. and lasts upto 1 month.

METHOD

1.in a large high hipped platter take all purpose flour, 2 cups wheat flour.

2.add 1 cup oil or ghee (for moin).

So let's start to make Suwali

INGREDIENTS

5.nigella seeds- 1 tbspn
6.oil or melted Ghee(butter)- for Moin, 1 cup
7.oil for frying 1 Ltr
8 water - as required.

METHOD

1.in a large high hipped platter take all purpose flour, 2 cups wheat flour.

2.add 1 cup oil or ghee (for moin).

3.add salt, cumin seeds, Nigella seeds and Mix all well add water to knead a soft dough.

4.Cover the dough and keep for 10 mins.

5.now after 10 min divide the dough balls into small portion.

6.now roll each portions into small thin circle in 1" diameter.

7.spread them in a platter.

8.now prick each circle with fork as shown in the pic.

9.heat oil in a kadhai and now deep fry few of the suwalis at a time.

10.Fry them.in a mduim heat flame, till they turns into golden brown in colour from both sides.

11.starin them on an tissue paper and keep aside it to cool properly.

It's done! Serve or store in a air tight container.
Enjoy them! They tastes great with Chai(tea) or coffee and with mango pickle too. Do try this and let me know how it was.
