Prepared spicy Chòle & buffy fluffy Bhàture(chickpea curry and fried puffs)

Today I made tasty meal combo recipe made with spicy and flavored Chole masala with deep fried puris. It is popular street food meal in Northern India, particularly in Punjab and Delhi.
It can be serve any time of the day for complete and satisfying meal.

So let's see how to make this-

How to make chole- (chickpea)

1.In pressure cooker take soaked chole. I have soaked chole in enough water for overnight.

2.Add salt ,water and ¼tsp baking soda. Soda helps to cook chole well. If you want the chole to be black in color then add 2 tea bags.
Pressure cook for 5 whistles. Once the pressure releases, open the lid and keep aside. Discard the tea bags.

3.In a kadhai heat oil,1 bay leaf, 2 cardamom, ½cinammon stick, cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Saute all in low flame.
Now add chopped onions saute till the onions turn golden brown.

4.Then add garlic ginger paste and saute till aroma goes away.

5.Then add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder and Dry mango powder and chole masala(optional).Saute them on low flame.

6.Now add tomato puree and saute until the oil seperates.

7.Now add boiled chole and mix well. Adjust consistency by adding water if required.

8.Cover and simmer for 10 minutes until the chole absorbs all the flavours.

Chole is ready to serve

How to make bhatura-

▪︎Firstly in a large bowl take 2 cup maida, 1 spoon rava, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 spoon baking soda, salt and oil. Mix well and add curd. And mix everything well.

▪︎Then add water and knead a smooth and soft dough.Grease the dough with oil cover it and rest for 2 hours.

▪︎After 2 hours knead the dough slightly and make balls without any crack.

▪︎Roll slightly thin, apply oil to prevent from sticking.

▪︎Then dropped the roll dough in a hot oil of kadhai.

▪︎Press until the bhatura puffs up.

▪︎Flip over and fry until it turns golden brown .

Drain off the bhatura and is ready to enjoy with chole.

Finally chole bhature is ready to enjoy with some onions . Serve it hot it tastes great.
