I’m Doing Something Wrong With My Chicken:

I’m a noob at Splinterlands, cluelessly flailing about in Bronze III. I’ve been dipping my toes into buying a few cards and yesterday picked up a Furious Chicken. When I tried it out in first position in a few practice battles, it worked fine. But when I did a few ranked battles, I couldn’t see it as an available card and reverted to placing a tank in first position. Clearly, I’m doing something wrong, but what?

Edit: Duh, I just had a hard time finding it, didn’t realize that the button for “1” mana also displayed the “0” mana card.

“I’m really worried about a return of Donald Trump this time, because this time, the Velociraptors have figured out how to work the doorknobs.” — Former Bush speechwriter David Frum

The January 6th investigation gets closer to Donald Trump.

Stephen Gillers, a professor of law at New York University, said that Attorney General Garland may wait for higher courts to rule on Trump’s legal claims, but he believes that Garland will eventually prosecute Bannon. Gillers pointed out that if Bannon is not charged, those who were subpoenaed this week might be encouraged to try waiting out the investigation. “Garland knows that,” Gillers said, adding, “Everything we know about his devotion to the rule of law makes me confident that he will not allow that to happen.”

I use it always as the last card, to protect my weaker cards from "opportunity" or sneak attacks. But I am not the expert either :)
